I lived a humble life with my wife, 4 children and 8 grandchildren, I am almost 70 now and If I had to do it again I wouldn't change a thing. Have you ever heard the old saying money does not buy happiness, well the hell with wealth because at the end of the game we all go into the same box.

It is easier for a camel to enter eye of needle than a rich man to enter heaven. Unless the richman uses his wealth for the benefit of the poor, the road to hell is wide open. May be at the most 70 years of socalled ego, after which 70 times 70 billion times and still not ending, the abode of eternal hell.

We all want our children to do better financially than we did. Some of my Uncles were more prosperous than my grandfather. My dad on the other hand, had to work hard to make a living. My brother earns more than me. But I earn more than my older brother. My oldest daughter makes 3X what I did when I was her age. I believe that choices we make early in life dictates our earning potential later in life.

Let's get together and preach this from the rooftops! We need to keep them in prayer. Throughout the Scriptures, Jesus fed the hungry. He commanded His disciples to feed the poor and heal the sick. The Church has the responsibility to help those that hunger and clothe those that are naked but they are neglecting to meet their responsibility. If the Church truly dedicated itself to fulfill these areas of their calling, God would provide the resources. It is not up to government and we can see how they are failing. It is important to understand that net worth does not translate into actual spendable wealth. Just because someone's networth is 100 billion doesn't mean they could go buy something for 100 billion any more than you can. It just means they own and control assets worth that much. Their taxable income is likely orders of magnitude less than their net worth.

@tomtube1012 No, most of these guys pay themselves an annual salary, which is their taxable income. Typically, no more than a few hundred thousand dollars per year. Their assets, planes, yachts, even homes, etc. , would be owned through various LLCs.

There are approximately 2.2 billion people living in poverty in the world. Just a rough calculation but that would come roughly to a check to each of those 2.2 billion of about $2,340 They would all be broke in less than 90 days

I am retired at age of 37 with enough money to live…and travel around the world…and go back to school to study something I want to do…Applied Math and Medical Physics…even if I die tomorrow, I am happy with that…I know I can’t bring even a penny with me…but guess what? It makes a huge difference in the quality of your life. True wealth allows you to basically go where you want when you to and do what you want to within the law. True philanthropists could make a big difference with their money if they chose to. Example potable water readily accessible to all of africa. We had to make sacrifices but now I sit back at 63 years old and I’m very proud of both of them. I personally never went to one day of college, but with common sense I ended up making a good living.

The comedian Tom Papa does a bit in his act where he says he's happy for all the billionaires, that they did well, but they only had one day to enjoy it before the rest of us went after them to spread it around.
