Fun Fact: At 8:39, my bandmates seen in the clip are actually helping me out on the channel as well by providing voiceovers and some editing on list videos (yeah, I don't do the voices on the channel) They don't play JRPGs - well, technically one do, but he has only ever played Final Fantasy games. Anyways, would you guys be interested in a new video series on the channel where they would listen, react, and analyze a game's OST for the first time from a music producer/musician standpoint? we might also do a few video game music covers in the future. Have you played the Persona Q games? If so, I would be interested in hearing your opinion on them. I'd also be interested in hearing your opinions on Shin Megami Tensei games, especially the mainline game.

Kind of a meme list because the top 6 best Persona games just includes every game in the mainline Persona series, lol. Kidding aside, it's kind of impossible for me to pick between 4 and 5, they are both incredible. 3 is edged out only slightly, and that is just because I think it feels slightly dated in comparison to the newer games. 4 and 5 definitely improved on the gameplay and overall presentation. 3 has individual parts that are definitely the equal of the later games, though. Particularly the strong horror atmosphere, likeable cast of characters, and individual story scenes that are extremely hard hitting (P3 has one of the best endings of any videogame). Later games got better, but P3 was the game that paved the way for later games to break into mainstream popularity.

Haha, it's just a ranking of the 6 Persona games 🤣. Anyway, I have the same thoughts as well. It's really hard to choose between Persona 4 and Persona 5. In the end, the tipping point that made me pick 4 is more about nostalgia.

250+ hours, max social stat, obtained Satanael, obtained all ultimate weapons and I'm still replaying P5R. 😅

I dont agree!!, how persona 4 golden can be better than persona 5 royal , persona 5 royal is on another level man in story , music , gamplay , donjons are the best in the series ,every chars has an ultime technique in combat , style of design and grafique are top much , 100 hours ! Bosses are very hard and have charisma, its way better

frankly, having started with 5 and now doing 4, I get it, the game is great, the characters are adorable, the events are funny... ...but COME ON.... 5 is an improvement at almost every level and where it doesn't improve, it stays at least as good. P5 cast is for me personally just as good as P4's P5 gameplay is improved on almost every aspect And P5 got rid of tons of little thing that while minor really makes me enjoy P4 less, like the lack of dungeon variety, the very impractical and way too numberous fetch quests, the unclear and not really engaging investigations time to find "infos" on your targets, some confident being honestly kinda dumb to figure out exept if you look everywhere each day before picking an activity...which I might have done if I discovered the game when I was 15 on PS2, but today as a working adult I really can't afford to put that much time just in case. I'm still having a good time playing P4, and when I'll be done with it I'll probably have a good time on P3 as well, but I still think P5R will be hard to beat when old school design choices hold it's predecessors back.
