Number 6 should absolutely be number 1. I understand there are more ‘important’ comebacks, but number 6 was one of the all-time best drives by any driver.

The description you gave of the 2016 Brazilian GP is criminal. Dude literally pitted to inters when the rain was heavy and for wets when the rain was light. His last 2 out of 5 stops he was on the right tyre and fought back to third

People still saying its because of the car are complete idiots, the 2016 rain race in Brasil proves that point as RB wasnt the #1 team back then. Also the true skillcraft shows in the rain.

That was absolute magic! The youngest and most inexperienced driver was schooling the entire field. The lines Verstappen took in the wet blew my mind. What amazed me even more, is that the other drivers didn't take those lines despite them being way faster. Before that race, i saw that Verstappen was a great and amazing racer. But after that amazing performance, i realised he could be one of the goat's. Someone who doesn't share this vision by now, is just a Verstappen hater.

I think his Monaco recovery in 2018 was quit impressive. Starting last after crashing his car in P3 he end up P9. That may not sound like much but this is Monaco in dry conditions. A track where it's almost impossible to overtake. And illustrated in that race by his teammate Ricciardo, who kept his first position and won despite having sever power issues.

the 2016 brazil one should be #1 because of the following reasons: 1 Mercedes was the dominant car by far, RB was 3rd fastest team 2 Verstappen had 3 more pitstops than hamilton/rosberg but managed to finish close behind them 3 aside from passing 15 guys in 15 laps, that snap/slide correction in the rain was unheard of!

Brasil 2016 was the moment most F1 fans saw his geatness for the 1st time for sure.. But I think he already did amazing things in his rookie year 2015, the way he used a frontrunning Ferrari while being lapped to overtake others in front of him in Monaco for example was just brilliant.. It ended in a crash with Grosjean, which most will remember.. He was just 17 years old.. The level he's on now, I think he reached after Monaco 2018, where he made a mistake in FP3 which allowed Ricciardo to win the race.. Ever since he's been the best most consistent driver in F1 imho.. Only from 2021 he had the car to win titles.. Now that he has the best car, there's no more competition..

other race macau 2014 after qualifing race Max dnf and had to start the main race 23th, there also was a restart after a crash. after the restart he overtook 1 car each lap on a track you can bearly overtake, and finished 7th. and Singapore 2015, Max car stalled at the start was a lap down on everbody and finished 8th

That is the only reason that Jos is a trouble maker, but what can RB do ? Honer has to go. RB can still win without Honer, but will fall down without Max. It is not only the car, but driver. Max even go to other team without a win, but will give his rivals hard time, every body will know that.

Jos needs to chill, Horner needs to stay right where he is. They have the perfect team right now and will win every race the car finishes in good working order. The only thing that can beat Max and RBR right now is Jos. He needs to step away.

Wrong 😂😂😂 max is the best but put leclerc in that car and he will still win by 20 seconds, put Albon in that he winning be ten, put Bottas in that he can still win too, the car is and will always be more important than a driver and Christian manages everything together for that car
