What tuner do you recommend

Diablosport or SCT . Both are good. Easy to use. I currently run a SCT on my 2017 chevy

@@bsb7223 I had the Cherry bomb extreme witch is extremely similar and I liked it. It sounds like a more throaty muffler delete. It honestly sounds nothing like the rest of flowmasters stuff which for my taste I personally like. I can't stand the choked off traditional flowmasters sound. It's really loud at idle but bearable at cruising rpms.

@@bigblockbumpside2296 well it's a lot better if you hop up the motor of course but a V8 sounds bad ass no matter what straight piped. Unless it's some ratty old piece of trash that knocks, has rattling valves or some other sign of failure. My truck sadly only has single exhaust with the muffler and resonator off but to me it still sounds pretty good despite most people thinking it's obnoxious I'm sure.

i have a Chevrolet 1999 5.3 what should i put on it to make it sound good i havent heard it yet the battery doesnt have bolts on it i might put a new one i also need a good type of rims for it i also wanna make the colors looks like on it and different

Overall, i hrdly drive my old 5.3L though. Its become a toy. Think its 2 months on the same tank. Need to get out and drive it. Blow the crud from the injectors again. The Italian tune up works well for the old girl. 169k and still going.

@@turbogofast BOR40085 is the SKU. The muffler diameter is a bit bigger than the factory exhaust, but the space from cutting off the factory muffler was plenty of room for adapters.

Tim Jones a muffler has absolutely nothing to do with emissions. Cats do. He leaves the cats on or swaps them out for high flow cats.

But I've also been debating on just doing the stock manifold for now with cats that bolt up to it but then eventually get stock length headers later as I do use it to haul between 1-2 k lbs. So I'm gonna keep it 2.5 inch duals. But unsure if I just do straight with 2 x pipes for even flow in the back as well as the front. Even though it gains no benefits. That way I can decide later if I wanna do muffler in it and what type. I'm also gonna do it in pieces. So off the manifold gonna design removable downpies so I can just unbolt em and hook up straights when I wanna hit the mud and be all loud and shit. I do daily drive it so Im not going to go without cats. But the stock manifold and cats give it back pressure and fixes

Well my truck is a 01 single cab u definitely hear the exhaust in the cab. But i can have conversations easily. If i get another truck one day id probably use the same set up. I like it that much.

@@jonahevers9371 yes, the super 10 has a more aggressive sound. But when you add headers and or remove your cats the 40 series is perfect for me... The super 10series is a bit too much for me...
