See ... If both are at equal prices ... Ryzen 5 7530u and i3 1220p ...are almost equally powerful , though they have different no. Of cores and threads . But here , if you're getting 16 gb with ryzen 5 7530u it's far more powerful than i3 1220p with 8gb ram . Thinkbook has upto 64 gb of ram upgradability option. But yeah if you're getting RAM upgradability option in the laptop with 8gb varient , you may go for it . Else both are good . But also see other specs like as display and battery . Whatever option suits you best ... Go for it .... I think it helped you 🙂

For me ,R7 is way better than 12450h, if u can't push beyond 64k then choose IdeaPad gaming 3,for 6GB graphics card u can consider loq 12450hx or its alternative Ryzen variants!, it's better to choose those with good thermals i guess Lenovo's hyper chamber cooling makes it superior.

Ab for your cse , in fact I'm also a CSE student, I'm also trying to get a best laptop for me and my budget is also same ... So first of all , specifications must be like this . Ryzen 5/7 U series or Intel i5 U series ke sath 16 gb ddr4 ram (3200 mega Hertz wali) honi chaiye + ho sake toh upgradable option jaroor ho . Dusra , if anyway you get H series processor, toh 8 gb ram bhi chalega , but UPGRADABLE RAM hona chahiye.. jisse future me ram badha Sako ... .... Aur agar faraa faraa bolu toh apko 16 gb ram chahie hi chaiye , but han agar H series processor mil jaaye toh filhal 8 gb le sakte ho but upgradability hona chahiye ... .
