I love the video, but Tom Ford shouldn't be here - for majority of people it indeed is VERY EXPENSIVE, it would be better to mention one more fragrance with a lower price tag that matches the niche expensive brands.

I agree that Tom Ford prices have shot up in recent years. I didn’t say the fragrances here are more affordable and Tom Ford is a designer after all (though with niche prices yes) 😉

Of course, as I said I love the video as always, just logically it would be good to consider giving the spot of a 'expensive designer fragrance that smells expensive' to a less expensive one that smells expensive, like the rest. That is a suggestion for the future - can be taken of left. :-) Thank you Josephine for your work!

I absolutely LOVE these videos where fragrances are paired/matched with fashion, style, personality, activities, charm, hygiene, femininity, beauty, hair, jewelery, etc. I feel like it's the way of the future for perfume and fashion videos, because it takes the full combination to create a vibe or style--just fragrance alone is very rarely enough to gain confidence, attention, compliments, etc. When we take good care of ourselves in all aspects (inside & out) that's when we're at our best, and fragrance is one aspect of the package that can help boost and complete any vibe or style! In my opinion absolutely all L'Interdit fragrances are just great! The most striking for me are the original EDP and the EDT. But really, all are wonderful.

on the contrary… here I am, trying not to hate the L’interdit line… I’m fine sniffing some from the bottle, I bought two; first the Rouge 2nd the Edt… having a hard time wearing both, got me dizzy and nauseous. It smells dated/old to me. I had my daughter tried it too, it got me sickly as I drive which made our day out cut short 😅 as much as I wanna love them, seems like I wasted money on them. Now I’m wondering if I’m not ok with a tuberose note dominant perfumes 😬😓

@@shibakude01 Sorry to hear that. All noses are different of course. The original L'Interdit dates back to Audrey Hepburn times (Givenchy originally made it just for her,) so it is technically old, but to me does not smell old at all. Seems a strongly sweet fruity floral, quite modern if you compare it to i.e. the similar My Way Intense by Armani. I'd suggest check that one out and see if you like it and doesn't cause you a headache. Two other women's fragrances that I also find particularly wonderful are J'adore Parfum d'Eau (the alcohol-free one,) and Prada Candy. PS. I'd also suggest, spray L'Interdit not on yourself but on a paper strip, two-three sprays, and put it next to where you sit at work or at home. See throughout that same day when you sprayed it if you catch it in the air, if you like it, and whether it bothers you with headaches. If not, then possibly you had sprayed too much? If yes, then definitely not for you.

I have the J’adore de aeu one, it’s fine but not a favorite. nothing special in it for me. bottle is cute. after lunch today… I sprayed L’INTERDIT edt on my shoulder 😬 still a no for me 😓😅😭 I smell an old cosmetics of my grandma waaaaaay back 😂 in a very dated way, like a years expired old compact face powder😅 that makes you nauseous 🤣 It got me more convinced I wasted money for 2 50ml bottle 😭

But Jasmin Rouge is indeed very expensive already. And as much as I love the perfume (jasmine as one of my favourite notes) I just noticed recently in the drydown it smells like rubber, almost like a condom. Still love it ❤

For the Chloe Atelier des Fleurs, you have to like very very very subtile sents. I worked for Coty ( who manage parfums Chloe) during the launch of this collection in 2018/2019. I wasn't worked for Chloe but for Bottega Veneta who at that time was also manged by Coty. And if the scents of the collection are really nice, they are incredibily discreet. I have some bottles till this day and when I put them, I can barely smell them. And I put a tone on me. For the price and the quality of the accord, it's really sad. Definatly dont worth the price. But if you have the possibility to put a hand on Parco Palladiano Bottega Veneta, the fragrances are incredible. Yes expensive has hell, but they I incredible. My fav, the XV, exceptionnel and Unique, the IX, the IV, the VIII, the XII, the XIII and the XIV.

Thanks for sharing! Interesting considering I dont consider Chloe Nomad to be a subtle scent, so are you saying its the Atelier Des Fleur line is their "prive" line but lighter? which is crazy because "prive" lines for deisgners are supposed to be more intense to account for the higher price.

@@isobel64 Exactly, it was weird even for us because comparing to Nomad or event Chloe signature line, the private collection is very subtile. At that time at Coty, they didn't like to create private collections full turned ton the middle East like many brands did ( at that time, it start to change) So they choose very aromatic DNA for thier New Collections. It's the Case for Bottega Veneta Parco Palladiano, Miu Miu Les Eaux A La Mode, Alexander Mc Queen la Collection ( also worked on this last one and it's also great!!!) And atelier des fleurs. The difference between Atelier des Fleurs and the other creations, is that they choose in main ingredients flowers, in a very delicate setting, in reaction to the bom scents of other collection. And you have to enhance flowers with note like woods, leathers, epices, to have a powerful scents. When you focus your creation only around flowers. The scents is too lights. So The Chloe ateliers des fleurs ended to be that light.
