Here are the top 7 Instagram settings you should change right now to improve your experience on Instagram.
Turn on two-factor authentication
Make sure to keep your Instagram account as secure as possible.
Removed any authorized apps and websites you don't recognize.
Change your account type if you are trying to grow on Instagram. If you don't have a private account and want more followers, make sure you change to a creator or business account. You'll get access to analytics and more tools to help you grow faster.
Restricts accounts that you don't want to see. It will make going on Instagram a lot more enjoyable.
Turn off notifications to live videos
Update Messenger - This gives you access to the new Instagram Messenger with a lot of new controls
(You can't undo this. So watch my other video on this update before updating it on your app)
Turn on Save to camera roll in Story settings. This way, every time you post on a story, you'll get that post directly saved to your camera.
Use Less Cellular Data - turn it on

Awesome!!!! I did them all!!! The cellular data was duper helpful but really they all were . I was wondering if you could show us how to know what version our app is ? I seem to have different menus and options . Even once I switched to a creators account. Thank you for all your helpful videos I’m going through them one by one here . 😃 🙏🏻

I personally just started using IG for the stories to share especially to FB for my biz platform so I’ve just been trying things out but I have committed now to doing at least one training a day that is for IG. I appreciate your approach. I don’t subscribe to many channels bc well most are annoying to me and do not have good content but I like your style and ALL the info. I loved the reminder of the 2 auth-factor is so important. And I don’t currently have any apps or websites that have permission but I will be checking in on that. Can’t wait to keep watching your videos. I appreciate you!! I could also send my parents to your channel for info instead of me trying to explain certain things lol. Keep doing You!!

It would help if you told us what version of iPhone, you're using My settings page on my iPhone 12 is totally different from the one you're using in this video. Also, you didn't mention a two-factor authentication cost money, you have to get an App.

hi uh for my instagram account whenever i set it to creators account it just doesnt show others any of my posts, follow numbers ect as if iblocked them even though i didnt , do u know a way to fix this?? ive tried to find a tutorial for this but doesnt seem to be a common problem

Greetings Howfinity, i saw your page pop up in my line up of videos and am glad that i clicked on. I'm learning Instragram and i'm looking to grow more viewers. I followed your instructions and is in settings. I'm guessing that i am on private, because what i see on the end page is 1) switch to professional account and 2) add new professional account. I don't see business or creat business. How can i tell if i'm in private?

Under settings, there is an option that says privacy. Click that and there is an option called private on top. You can see there if your account is private or public

This is great, but the only one I am in question in is the professional account one. I switched to a pro account a few weeks ago, and realized I was getting less and less engagement on each post, is this because if I put I am a photographer, it will only show my stuff to other photographers, whereas before, it was showing it to everyone?

From my iPhone 14, how do I get to the security settings in my Instagram account? I do not have that option from Settings. "Password & Security" settings in Apple ID is turned ON for two factor authentication. But, there doesn't appear to be a way to select two factor authentication in my Instagram profile from within my iPhone 14 settings.
