The was a fantastic place and you did a great narrated tour. Amazing to see the top of the mountain/ volcano you pointed out and walking across the moving bridge across the top of the rainforest must have been incredible . I loved the hot springs and under the waterfall and good that you could go in both. The sloth Park looked brilliant and that red coloured frog was adorable. Had to laugh at your sons face when he tried the 90% chocolate 🤭 That was so good, thanks for sharing ~ Anna 👍

Great Video and I am very much inspired by seeing this and now I have a strong belief about that I can do with my 9y old and 3y old kids with backpack. Could you please share your itinerary the things you did in Le Fortuna and close by places.

You can do it! This is the whole idea of the channel really, to show parents how much adventures they can have with kids in tow. We spent one month in Costa rica and most of it is on KZfaq, in chronological order, in the Costa rica series. We started in San Jose, then Tortuguero, Sarapiqui (great for water activities), La Fortuna, Rio Celeste (Cacao Farm and National Park Tenorio), Samara (off the beaten path, seaside village), Monteverde (cloud forest), Manuel Antonio, Uvita and Corcovado NP before returning to Heredia and flying out.

where did you buy or rent that backpack to carry your kid.. its so cool

We travelled with it from Europe. We borrowed it from friends on this occasion but you can buy one in one of the big adventure gear shops. We usually go to Globetrotter in Germany for all our travelling gear or Decathlon in France and Belgium.

What was the travel dates ? Also do we must need travel guides to do hikes for arenal volcano and hanging bridges

We were there at the end of July 2022 for 5 days. We had a guide for Arenal and hanging bridges as they are better at spotting wildlife and kids enjoyed their company but it is definitely possible to do without. You would pay only the access fee for the park in both places but would need to drive yourself. The trails are well signposted.
