5 жыл бұрын1. The breed is known as a true and quite possibly the last of the coursing mastiffs. The overall impression is powerful, balanced and athletic.
2. Cane Corso is a very versatile utility breed, they are very agile for their size allowing them to excel in many different tasks such as big game hunting, herding, guarding livestock and protection works.
3. Cane Corso is very alert. They are highly valued as a companion and guard dog. They are naturally watchful for their family members, properties and livestock.
4. Cane Corso is a highly intelligent and calm-natured breed. Because they are also sensitive, eager to please, with a good attention span they are relatively easy to train.
5. Although their double coat protects them from cold weather they are relatively easy to groom.
6. Living inside the house; Cane Corso is not known to be a noisy breed.
Give your dog some exercise daily.
They usually are quiet and calm around the house. With good structure, they can learn your house rules very well.
7. Cane Corso's loyalty to its owners is second to none. They are loyal and affectionate with their families and great with children.
In summary, Cane Corso is a fantastic breed. If you are looking for a mastiff that is not a couch potato, strong, athletic with a stable temperament. Cane Corso might just be the dog for you.

For me, this breed is the perfect combination of intelligence, power and trainability. The guarding instincts are built right into them from an early age and the Cane Corso will sacrifice themselves for their families. Simply the best you can own.

I’ve had Dobermans, Rottweilers, GSDs, and mutts and my Cane is BY FAR the most intelligent. Easy to train but stubborn as hell. You need to know what you’re doing and always be training and have a ton of structure.

I absolutely love my Cane Corso, Dante'. He started to guard and protect me naturally at age 9 weeks. He is a clown at times. The most loyal, companion dog I have ever owned. P.S. updating.. I love my Cane Corso Dante so much that I bought another Corso named Nero. The breeder contacted me about a Corso she had that has an underbite selling as a pet quality. I bought Nero and he is a wonderful loving protector and companion. Nero and Dante are best friends.

I love my cane corso soooo much, she loves her people and only wants to be with us. She is so happy sitting with us or at our feet. Very smart, also, very stubborn.

Stubborn for sure! But my Corso behaves in the end, the stubbornness I encounter is when she wants her "spot" or persistently rests her big old head on my leg to let me know I need to walk her!

Already love this channel and have learned or rather relearned how totally awesome this breed is. I'm 51yrs old, have had many breeds as my dog, but no dog has delighted me like my female Corso who has been the easiest to train in every way and fits in perfectly with my family. I love my Cira and I love this breed.

Ours had his tail done before we brought him home at seven weeks. We decided not to do his ears. They are so soft and my 6 year old loves playing with them/pulling them. If we ever get another one we will go the same route.

Hi, Interesting thing is our boy and girl was born when u published this video. A male and a female. They are brothers adopted from a shelter. The 7 reasosns absolutely agreed. This breed is fantastic! First time we have this kind of dog but I'm impressed... Loyal, smart, beautiful, full of energy.... And so on. I recommend for anybody HOWEVER only for experienced owners. It is very important! Just because they are big and strong with solid character. Dogs for everyone! 😁

I love my boy Kane. He was about 8 Months old when we rescued him and only 42 lbs. No people or house training. I've had him 4 months now and I couldn't imagine my life without him. He's my best buddy!! After we move to a bigger place next year I want to start fostering them!! I love the breed!!!

Absolutely a great dog! My brother has a 10 month old, named Django and he is so intelligent. VERY sweet and loving...he will play with his toys and hop like a rabbit with joy and even I have trained him some because he is just easy to work with. Stubborn on some things tho, like chewing on things he should not. He used to bring you his toy and want to bite at your hand to keep you from getting the toy, to play more and even wants to do tug of war. Not too fond of letting him bite at me with his INCREDIBLE ability to bite 730psi but just tonight he was bringing me a small pacifier toy his grandma got him and he gave it to me from his mouth so soft and easy......I love him. These are EXCELLENT dogs. Last, they will absolutely protect you and I mean like a Secret Service Agent and you're the POTUS.

OMG I have always loved the larger dog breeds. After watching this video I have a new breed to add to my list. I would love to own 1 of them. I can only imagine the cost of a puppy would be in the 1500.00 price range. So worth the investment.

I’m dying to get one but the most I have to put forward is like 600$ and I haven’t seen anyone of them ever go for that. The main reason for wanting one is one of the guys at the VA had one as a service dog to help with depression and ptsd (which I’m also trying to get a handle on) and he saved that he’s had other service dogs but this one saved his life from mental breakdown as well as a home invasion. Since then I’ve wanted nothing but a Cane corso. So if anyone knows where I’d love and appreciate the help

I’ve always wanted one, but wife says no. Also hard o find around where I live, I’d have to do some travel. I never met a corps until a few months ago, when a a new neighbor moved into the neighborhood. They have four cane corsos and I never thought I would meet one. I really want one now, as I try to convince my wife.

awesome video and new Sub!!! After watching/following "Cane Corso Barcelona" and this new video!!! Now i want a Cane Corso but my biggest problem is.... I live in NYC Apartment.. I want to know is a ok to have a Cane Corso in apartment???? I have a active live style (outdoor person) and My wife is afraid of Cane Corso because they have big mouth LOL... I know she's silly.... Now Cane Corso will work out in a 2 bedroom Apartment in NYC or you guys think i should wait in to i get a bigger apartment/house (in the future)? Also i have no kids but i am married.. Hi! This dog was, in the past, a working dog as a guardian or hunter, typically against large or dangerous wild animals such as wolves, bears, wild boars or even other aggressive dogs, so the traditional cut of the ears and tail was practiced to avoid painful wounds fighting these animals or running among thorny vegetation but also to accentuate an aspect that aroused fear in bad-intentioned men. Today, in the family, it is no longer useful, first of all, for the dog itself, indeed everyone would appreciate a more natural and friendly appearance ..., but, perhaps, on some occasions an old-fashioned "devil's face" 👿 could have its usefulness... 😉😁 Ciao!!

Some people do if you have a lot of spare time to train each dog one at the time. For most people I recommend one at the time. Get the second one after the first turn at least 18 months old.

In my opinion I would start with one. Let it build a strong bond to you. Once trained and loyal add another puppy. Wait about a year or up to 18 months. It is best not to have 2 the same sex. Your first Corso will help train the new puppy. This is just my opinion. Good luck. You truly can't go wrong with this intelligent, loyal breed. My Cane Corso was guarding and protecting me from age 9 weeks old.

Not a beginner dog. So it needs alot of focus training for the first year. Better to concentrate your training and get a better result dog.

I have 2. A mother and son. 6 and 5 y.o. The fact that I'm retired and with them 24/7 has made "coming to an understanding " a painless transition. The only real issue is that it costs twice as much to feed 2.......on the other hand, you're rewarded with twice as much love......😀

Nice video :) People NEED to know, that the Corso really give what you deserve... Do you attack its family, it will attack you! Do you love your Corso, it will love you back times hundred! And GREAT with kids :) We all know "cane corso barcelona" because of their quality Corsos, but also for their socialmedia promotion. Do know aney other breeders, who provide high quality pups, that you would like to recomend? And in the future, could you make some tips on training and protection traning. All the best to you

AJ Flores spoke therefore I must LOL. First I would ensure the breeder have the pup's vaccination all up to date and is 7 days after the last jab so it's effective before it goes on the plan in transit facility. All kinds of disease can be there. Once arrived home have the crate ready, introduce food and lots of play time inside the crate for positive crate training the first night (please watch these on my dog training play list). Potty train the moment it arrived your house and repeat every hour to see how long the interval is before it has to go. Clearly establish rules and boundaries (positively from day one. All good fun! The Dog training play list on my channel has some more tips in depth and details.

Other than that, keep socializing your corso with all kinds of people and animals all the time take it where ever you go if you can. But make sure let nothing scare your dog by being too rough or attack it otherwise fearful and aggression reaction can be future problems.

I have seen Italian and north American breeders build their kennel outside but I cannot say what else they have to ensure the dogs do not freeze in the winter. This breed do much better living inside the house.

Hi so I’m looking at importing a puppy since there’s no quality breeders in Ireland for presa canarios and cane corsos. The minimum age I can get this pup imported at is 4 months old. Is this too old to properly train a puppy or do you think it’ll be safe to get a puppy this age ?

4 months old is not too late but I will get the pup from a bteeder who will train and socialize the pup for you for imprinting before shipping. Presa is a banned breed in UK, is it not in Irland?

I recently lost my dog, it was a small terrier type dog. I have fell in love with the Cane Corso though and I'm doing my reaserch but have a question to ask if anyone could help. I have a cat who is 7 how do these dogs get on with other animals especially when my wife and I are out and they are home alone ? Thanks in advance

This is about 'prey drive'. My cane corso is fine with a cat. Look for a breeder who also have cats 🐈 or other small pets living with corso is a good place to start.

Obviously with these dogs being so big and powerful I'm a little weary at this early stage. I just feel that I'm bringing my pets into my home I want it to be theirs also and not divide the house. Doing my reaserch and just wanting to be sure before I get a new dog and I'm not wanting to traumatise the cat he to has such a fantastic nature I've got to take this into consideration. Thanks

Comparing apple with apple I will only compare cane corso with utility breeds. Generally the smaller the dog the easier it is to care and handle. It would be good to research on all dog breeds then narrow it down.

Hello, I have a Cane Corso Boxer mix (3/4 Corso). She's going to be a big dog as she was 65lbs at 6 months, she is now 9 months old. She's highly energetic which I am unsure if that's because of the boxer or puppy in her still. My question is if she will calm down, when should I expect it?

Puppies can seem highly energetic but that's just because it does not know the rules and manner yet. Just like bring toddlers to department store they just want to run around and touch everything they see. Puppies will calm down with training as they reach maturity. If it's a high energy dog then it will need you to spend sometime provide it with activities so it does not go berserk. Cane Corso should have some walk daily. High energy dog will need more things to do, running, sport and chew toys.

@@PawVlogs When we both have to work and don't want to leave her alone for a few hours we typically drop her off at one of the parents who has a fenced backyard. They say she runs for those few hours until it's time to pick her up. Appreciate the quick and timely response though.

@@TaylorGerrior Wow that's great. While I was away I had one more thought. Personally if I have a high energy dog that really needs a tone of exercise, I will do my best to spend a lot of time to train it up with basic obedience (all play for it). When it gets older and knows the commands, and house rules. I go puppy shopping and find a low energy puppy of similar size. Your high energy dog will have a play buddy, it will also help you train the new puppy. They can play all day long. Just don't get 2 very high energy dogs lol.

They drool but I would say they drool much less than other mastiffs. Mine only drool when there is food

I live in Charlotte NC, I don’t mind traveling but would like to know some great breeders... they can be well known good breeders or not so well know but are great as well... if anyone has suggestions I’d greatly appreciate it....

I know a of couple of good breeders in LA (Highpower Kennel), but may be Yvonne Aleman is closer to you? I followed her channel I got the feeling she is a good breeder and she breed for hobby and show not for money which is good (not a puppy farm). If she can't get you a puppy, she is very involved and could possibility point you to a breeder in NC. Anyway, always ask for both dam and sire's health test proof (at least on hip score and elbow, more the better) and check on that. Good breeders breed for quality will do these basics the ones saves money on health tests don't really care as much what kind of puppy they give you, but hey will tell you their puppy is top. Money talks, the ones willing to spend on making sure the gen pool is good are the ones that cares. Good luck.

Kiaora, because nz breeders do not sell puppies with main pedigrees papers only for pet. I wanted one to show and breed.

very little difference in cane corso and presa canario,,as owner of 5 rotties,,1 mali and 1 presa,,,the presa was without doubt strongest dog i ever owned,,i am 6'2 in height and 105kg,,presa literally pulled me up hills lol. check out bruce wayne cane corso,,i got to say best dog ever,,,outstanding all round.

May I ask you why you hate cropping dogs ears? Do you know that the wild canines and wild cats have erect ears? Why is that? Do you know? Or do you believe the false narrative about the cropping of ears? People need to research before they form an opinion about something they know nothing about!

I import from Australia. You are lucky, there are many good breeders in USA. If you find a breeder who can show you their health tests on elbow hip, eyes you have found a responsible breeder.

We got ours out of a rough area. The dad was a muscular 130lbs and the mom was a muscular 110lbs. Our boy is about to be one in 2 weeks and weighs 105lbs of lean muscle. We truly got lucky with him. He’s a great dog! Great with other kids and babies as well as adults. He’s just not very good with strange dogs:(
