Went to the Apple Store expecting to just buy a new band for my Apple Watch SE 1st gen. Ended up with the 45mm series 8. And I love it.

They should have brought back the Space Black in the stainless steel version to match the Space Black iPhone 14 Pro.Surprised they went with Graphite again when they have ditched the colour in the Pro iPhones.

I just purchased mine but here in Australia we don’t get it til Oct 5th. So had to watch a video on how it is. Thank you very helpful

I received my Series 8 in Silver today. Loving the bigger screen and always on display. It also feels super snappy and responsive. Can’t wait to go to the gym to test the new features.

I just got my Apple Watch 8 yesterday and I love it. I upgraded from Series 3.

Mine arrived today, got the red. LOVE the color, supper happy my series 5 44mm slim bands fit this watch. I like the bigger screen, but prefer a slim band. So glad I can use the ones I have. The emoji's are funny, IDK I just got a laugh out of them.

Upgraded from the series 5 I love the midnight color finally a black case instead of always being grey

Just got my series 8 today and I’m coming from the 6 and I’m in love, went for the bigger display this time like with my phone and I love it! Bigger is better in this case 😁! I got the Starlight though I’m not seeing much difference from that and the silver. At first I did but now it looks silver to me. I’m getting protection for it this time unlike my last watch. It ended up with some scratches and bumps. Nothing terrible though.

Apple Watch series 8 doesn't have bluetooth 5.3. It still have 5.0, as does the new SE. Only the Watch Ultra have bluetooth 5.3.

I have both SE 2 44mm and S8 45mm. SE 2 last long battery life, I think it’s because the S8 have AOD.. But I really like the AOD.. AOD features makes the watch look like a real watch….

Crash detection actually saved my life last Monday

I had a series 3 for five years and the screen just came off wear and tear so my insurance was giving me a problem. My plan was to get another one to my Sherance and maybe trade it in and get the ultra but they gave me such a hard time for four months my mother got involved because the Watch was being sent to her address due to my work schedule convinced the lady to give me a series 8. I got it today I’m about to sync with iPhone now as we speak…

Series 8 isn't worth the price. SE2 and Ultra are the better values by far. The 8 should be stainless steel by default at its current price and the SE2 should have an always on display.

Got my Apple Watch 8 3 days ago. I came from the Apple Watch SE from a couple years ago. The performance increase is very noticeable. I got the 8 for the O2 sensor and hoping they bring some more capabilities to the 2 onboard temperature sensors, us Y chromosomes want something catered to us…lol.

Nike faces is a software feature coming to all WatchOS 9 devices, so not a new feature of Series 8. S8 chip section spends most of the time talking about how fast it is, which is due to the CPU, which hasn't changed since the series 6. The. The S8 chip section basically says that this new feature is that it enables the other sensors to work, basically counting one feature (temperature sensor) as two, because it needed a minute update on the chip to work. Then, "colors" are apparently now a feature, which is that Apple has axed 2 colors and the titanium version, meaning this new feature is... silver. To top it off, this list couldn't even be stretched to 8 things as it says in the title. There are only 7. Incredible.

Meaning I still have the series 3 😢 to all my people who got the 8 I’m thinkin it’s time to finally upgrade

Apple Watch series 8 has great features and like the 7 a lager screen but the look is old and tired. Take the series 0 and other than a little lager size the look is the same. There are two reasons people buy an Apple Watch fashion & function. The fashion is old news and the function barely got a boost from the 7. Has Apple lost it innovation? The once hip trendy company has lost its edge.
