Looking for awesome ideas for your Super Mario Maker 2 puzzles? These ideas will help you make fantastic courses that will get hundreds of likes!
1. Left = Lose
We build an entire course around the premise that you cannot look to the left. With clever use of reset doors and careful progression, we can make an enjoyable puzzle that requires the player to think carefully!
2. Eerie Escape
Starting with a seemingly simple one room puzzle, we periodically explode walls to expand the puzzle and add more elements. Using four different methods we reveal secret rooms through scroll stopping.
3. Offscreen Secrets
The custom autoscroll feature helps us transform into a poison mushroom for this idea! With careful manipulation of the camera, we can create platforming and puzzle challenges for our new mushroom body.
4. Perplexing Platforms
Choose the correct skull platforms to activate and in the correct order! You only get one shot with each platform, best to think logically first.
5. Moon Mystery
Use an underrated new item in Mario Maker 2 to destroy unreachable enemies and gather keys and big coins.
6. Clever Crates
The builder powerup is one of the most creative additions in Mario Maker 2. We can use this powerup to make out-of-the-crate puzzles for our player!
7. Compact Conundrum
Have you ever been overwhelmed when you first open a puzzle and see tons of items on screen? For this one, we limit ourselves to a 5x5 box that houses our entire puzzle.
8. Bob-omb Bewilderment
In our last puzzle idea, we use special bob-omb properties to create a mechanically challenging puzzle for Mario. We can reset the bob-omb timers or extend them with simple tricks!

Definitely traditional levels but I feel that kaizo levels are more satisfying

the moon also works good for troll levels, you can use it to get rid of a muncher so that you cant get in a pipe

@@Arrowstotle I've played a few janky constructor Mario levels in my endless runs. They usually ended up with me fiddling around with specific box placements and awkward timing to get them into the right spot.

1. poison mush (custom scroll and screen lock 2. spot the difference (I know this isnt that good of a puzzle but im desperate) 3. Shell hitting to activate things that give keys 4. some sort of on and off thing 5. All of those (this is a boss im making a super world) But with saws and then some dude that needs to be hit with shell using on and off switches to be beaten

I can’t seem to make the false floor hide. Every time I try to replicate it, I can see the false floor underneath. I’ve googled everything about scroll stopping and I am certain I am doing it right, but for some reason the floor I can’t do, haha. Please help!

PUZZLE IDEA: use spike balls comeing from pipes to brake hard blocks donut blocks can drop if you stand to long the spike ball will drop down and if you get it right you will go to the next room and if you use on-off blocks you can help the spike ball too

I have a amazing puzzle level called crazy switching which is 51B-7YD-LQG. Im working on the sequel called "crazy switching 2: on a roll" which is in production. The sequel is going to have the same contraption as the prequel but harder. Hope you enjoy!

I am making a level with the rotten mushroom idea, but the contraption I used to send people farther didn't load cuz of the scroll stop, so the I tried key doors but that messed up the custom scroll. It's a glitch I found. *Based on:* It's the kaizo move where you throw a buzzy shell at a note bock I will separate the steps to get the Best results. *Steps (if you're facing right):* 1. This must be in a 1 block tall area, must be small. 2. Note-block must be at the wall with ground tiles being right above the note block and opposite of where you are facing. 3. Note-block must be resting ontop of the Semi-solid platform *The glitch:* If you throw the shell at the note block while running with the exact placements and timing, you can clip through the semi-solid platform I'll send a level dealing with my signature glitch tomorrow
