A good amount of these books sound more like "stories that you like and think everyone else doesn't" as opposed to "stuff we never heard of." Unless this is supposed to be for folks outside the fandom.

Dude. I've watched every single one of your videos and absolutely agree/enjoyed every single one. I'm an actor and honestly your dramatic readings of stories are my favorite things to watch. I recommend your channel to so many of my friends who are getting into comics right now because it is such an easy way to get the information. So basically, keep doing what you're doing! This was a very interesting list, excited to look at some of these. However, as all of these origins and story arcs continue to roll in, there are a few things that I'm quite surprised to see haven't really even been referenced. The Marvel story arc "Fear itself", Superman's "Search for Kryptonite", and origins/indepth looks at Captain Universe, The Sentry, Brainiac and Doomsday being a few, as these are the things alot of the people I know have been giving me questions about as they're beginning to pop up more and more in gaming and cartoons. These are all things I feel like you guys could kill at with your videos and such, and as a fan I would love to see. Thanks guy, good luck with those podcasts.

Bermejo's art is among my favourite in all of comics. If you haven't already, check out his solo book "Batman: Noel". That shit is tight.

Love all the content you guys put out and I really appreciate how u don't just read it word for word and add a little flare. A graphic novel that Ive read a couple times and is definitely worth a pick up is "King City" by Brandon Graham. It isn't exactly a super hero story but it has a lot of great aspects to it that i think you guys might like.

I can't even imagine how much effort and work goes into making and editing each video for your channel, so I feel bad for asking... but could you possibly make an 8 video long series about the Earth 2 stories?? :D

Not really graphic novels (these are story arcs). Not really "never heard of" (all these were major story arcs).

b1merio They are bound together into volumes of graphic novels. Most of the volumes are self contained in their stories. Also while they might be major story arcs in those books and to the people that regularly read them for people that never have had any interests before this is indeed a surprising list since it basically doesn't contain any of the cookie cutter obvious choices of Batman, Superman, GL, Spiderman, Xmen, etc.

Yes! I'm so glad to see Warren Ellis' Moon Knight and Kaare Andrew's Iron Fist on here! Two of my favorite comics in the last decade. The only thing I'd add to your list is Mike Allred's run on Silver Surfer, which started the same time as Moon Knight and Iron Fist last year.

Legion of superheroes from "Legion of Three Worlds" till the new 52, it adds a unique twist to one of DCs most unique teams. It spans 4 trade paper backs including "legion of 3 worlds", "the choice", "consequences", and "when evil calls". It also brought back the team that my dad used to introduce me to comics by bringing back the pre crisis on infinite earth group. It would also be a arc i would love to see as videos on this channel because it just does not get what it deserves

you said you like horror comics in this video so i have a recommendation for you its called American Vampire it a very fresh and interesting look at a age old myth and i think you might like tho it is extremely dark and gruesome and I'm pretty sure you could never post a video of it on this channel but still its a great read it had me on the edge of my seat the whole time i was reading it

I enjoyed when you compared Ms. Marvel to Spider-Man in terms of story. Iron Fist in the '90s was trying to make comeback during the death of Avengers and Fantastic Four, he was part of the Heroes for Hire with Luke Cage, White Tiger, Black Knight, Ant-Man(Scott Lang) and Hercules.

That was a pretty good list. I've read all of them except for Ms. Marvel and Iron Fist although, Rage is on my short list right now. I definitely agree with Earth 2. There were so many great tie in's to D.C.'s history throughout the story. It added another layer on top of a great collection of books that has legs all by itself.

i suggest Superior Foes Of Spider-Man. Was done by the same team as the current Ant Man books and also was the place where the Super Villains Anonymous Group referenced in Ant Man was featured in this series.

Great list!!!!!!!!! My choices would be: 1. Spiderman the Other storyline. I know a lot of people are iffy on the whole "mystical spidertotem" retcon but I thought it was interesting and paints Spiderman in a different light. 2. All of the Miles Morales Spiderman run is also really good. 3. The Earth one graphic Novels DC puts out are incredible and everything the DC cinematic universe should be. 4. Justice League united is also pretty good and kind of DC's guardians of the Galaxy.

So, if we're doing New 52, a couple of things I'd like to see: Frankenstein and the Agents of S.H.A.D.E. Justice League: Dark And the one thing I'd really really love is a Know Your Universe and/or origins on Deadman A.K.A. Boston Brand. He's my favorite hero, and I never meet people who know about him. He may not have a ton of stories, but whenever I see him it makes my day. If you already do have any of these videos, can you point it out to me and I'll check for them?

If you've not read it i would really really push you to take a look at Fear Agent by Rick Remender. Its a great series with a good look to it and every trade ends with you going "man it cant get any worse for this poor guy can it? oh wait yep it does"

I really wanna get Brian Azzarello's run on Wonder Woman, especially with Dawn of Justice coming out, I think i need a little more education on this character. And Earth 2 looks awesome, first heard about it in Batman/Superman Vol 1, will defo be sure to check them both out!

Ellis Moon Knight is the first comic arc I bought and read. What a way to get into comics. It's stayed good even after Ellis left the book, so definitely check out the runs of Brian Wood and Cullen Bunn.

If you want to do an epic comic storyline, you should do Trinity by Kurt Busiek and Mark Bagley. It got me into comics and is one of those gems that I could read over and over again.

Dan Slott as a favourite writer? Wow, that's a really unexpected choice. BTW if Snyder's your favourite writer and you like horror genre, do check out Wytches and American Vampire. Wytches is only 6 issues in it's super creepy stuff and American Vampire is what got Snyder noticed and landed him on Batman titles and it's plain awesome.

Ok so you're talking about various graphic novels but you only cover ones that are more or less just TPB and not any that are just stand alone books like the long Halloween or Nemesis. So with that stood is love to see do another last that was more a long the lines of single book adieu lines or vertigo style novels or especially ones involving some of the marvel Icon books, but I did so enjoy this video and the stuff you put on the list I actually would love to look into more

i always like to recomed the Tigra (marvel) 4 part mini and the Mystique Comic. The formers gives us a good look at a heroine who is often lunked in the background as the token furry but there is SOOOO much more to Greer then most people give her credit for. The the first volum of Mistuque where shes a black op aget for Xanvier is just kinda cool and different. Another i really love is Darkhawk but thats like a 50 issue series, still pick any arc and its pretty good he have a kid whos father is a cop that is set up as corrupt and killed but Chriss doesnt belive this, we have Iron Man butting heads with him in the Armor Wars, teaming up with spiderman, its just such a great series.

Definitely going to give Thor, Iron Fist, and Moon Knight a try. I have read all the DC comics mentioned because i've always been a DC guy. Definitely want to read more Marvel though! Also, I can't recommend Swamp Thing enough! Scott Snyder did great things with that book!

You should check out the series Nemisis by George Millar. Amazing story. It takes focus on a blood thirsty villain. You should really check it out
