She is in the province of Quebec (even to Canada level if i'm right). She was before of the show. In fact, that's her story. She presented herself to the blind audition telling that she wanted to be recognize for her voice. She was looking to launch her signing career.

That's not exactly a compliment. Most women want to be recognized for their skills and abilities, not just because of their genetics that mom and dad passed their way. Women want to be recognized for their accomplishments not it someone thinks they're pretty enough to be a walking clothes hanger.

Nouvelle Star isn't the French version of The Voice ("The Voice : la plus belle voix" is), but the French version of American Idol (and this girl actually won if I remember well. This is her performance before she was sent to the live shows).

Interesting fact. Sia hates singing this song as it takes immense control and trapezium with her vocal cords. Yet in my opinion anyone who is capable singing this song and delivering a great performance is a true vocal god/goddess.

I didn't much care for that trio of girls at all. I still think they only got the chairs turned because it was three girls singing. They weren't very good at all.

Merrida100. .. They still won the competition that year and then went on to represent The Netherlands in the Eurovision Song Contest so they couldn't have been all that bad.
