You are definitely correct Ahbi about the certifications. They are so damp expensive and lot of training providers are hiking the prices now due to the demand for learning these skills. People are being scammed hundreds of hard earned currencies but I am glad we have your players to learn for free. I am learning azure but can not quite find any good resources like yours online which is a shame for me but I am proud and incredibly grateful for your dedication and support to make these concepts nice and easy for us

Hi Abhishek, thanks a again for all good material. I have a question that I can not figure it out. I am a software Engineer/ developer, and looking for job. AWS is somehing that I see in most job descriptions. I am practicing with your channels, and reading AWS cloud practitioner materials, but in specific, I wonder if you have any thoughts on which AWS certification works specifically works better for SW/ application developer, not devOps engineer. Search for AWS Educate for taking AWS cloud practitioner for free. They have some conditions and tasks. If you fulfill them then you can take the cert for free.

Hi Abhi, i have asked this qn in k8 series, but didnt see any response.. hence reposting.. In a PROD enviroment, how can we avoid a Kubernetes pod going down scenario since my application running in that pod is a stateful one but the session is not persisted in any common share or DB. If the pod goes down, the app session is invalidated which makes the user to relogin. How can we avoid a bad uset experience atleast minimise this occurance ? Your response is highly appreciated 🙏

Sure, we have only one dedicated openshift cluster running for our organization and all the apps across the org are running in this cluster. If any of the pod / node is over utilized and see a busy tag with liveness probe the scheduler will kill the pod and will spin up the newer pod hence all the sessions in the current pod gets invalid. We cannot use a dedicated namespace for our application per our org policy, neither create a stateless application at this point.

Please note : readiness and liveness probe is defined and this application is a Resource hog. I was thinking to use some grace period termination timeout but our application session timeout is 30 min in ideal scenario. So the max value of 120 sec wont help here. Pls let me know if the scenario is clear. Many thanks

Hi Abhi, Basically im trying to figure out a solution for this scenario : My application is a stateful one but session is not persisted in the DB or common share. So if a user is active in one pod and if the pod is going down for any reason mainly if Resource max limit reached). The user session gets invalidated.I dont want the existing user to logout. If the readiness probe fails and liveness succeeds also the existing session gets invalidate if new request of that user comes in, right ? Is there aAnyway i can survive the existing user session ?

Hi VMS and @yth... I mentioned this earlier also, there is nothing called DevSecOps. Security practices should be added to everything that we do as a Software engineer on a day to day basis. Similarly if u add security practices to DevOps tasks some people call it DevSecOps. We already have Kubernetes Security Concepts, CI/CD security concepts, AWS, Terraform and others. May be you can tell me what exactly are you looking for. I will definitely help.
