How's it going Fragrance Aficionados. In today's video we are going to continue the GBUUO - Good, Bad and Ugly overview of fragrances from the Christian Dior La Collection Privee. Let me now in the comments which ones are your favorites from the Maison and the Privee collections... Also let me know what other fragrance brands/houses you'd like to see on future GBUUO videos!

As someone who grew up in Middle East and is familiar with Oud Rose fragrances I would say Oud Ispahan is a true masterpiece, but the problem is that many people in the US don’t like oud. My favorite in this collection is Oud Ispehan, Bois De Argent and Feve Delisius. I have to try Vetiver as well.

Oud Isphahan is very popular here in the GCC, so I tried it and found it animalic, too strong and mass apealing to the point of annoying everyone in the room! But lots of people love it!! ....... For me, it is Purple 💜 Oud because it's so classy and elegant. A bit Masculine more than being feminine. Longevity of a whole day. Smooth and gentle 😜. Love your review. Cheers from Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦

I absolutely love Bois D’Argent and Amber Nuit. I can’t believe you’ve gone thru those bottles considering the extent of your collection.

Oud Ispahan and Purple Oud are very different fragrances. Oud Ispahan is not discontinued. It is still available on the Dior website in the US. Just bought my 2nd 8.5oz bottle a month ago. It is my favorite Dior fragrance.

I love this private collection. I think they have something for everyone. For me the good would be Ambre nuit too, the bad would be Holy Peony because it smells nothing special ... the ugly, well, none of them smelled really bad to me. The overrated I would say Fève delicieuse too. And the most underrated then it would be Rose Kabuki for me. This is the perfect rose perfume to me. Really pure rose. I do enjoy it a lot and I've never heard anyone talk about it. Ballade sauvage is also really nice and my other favourites are Souffle de soie and Grand bal.

I have also had the same reaction to some of these oud fragrances, some of them are very challenging. Appreciate the honesty.

I have tried most of those so called 'discontinued' perfumes recently in the Galérie Lafayette in Paris: Vétiver, Eau Noire, Mitzah, Granville ... they truly have distinct smells (I get the point why people praise them), but to be honest, they have the classic traditional aromatic vibe, or to put differently, they smell somehow dated. Particularly Mitzah, it smells so odd to my nose. I felt bad to not like them I remember. In the end, I picked Purple Oud.

I love oud ispahan and gris montaigne .The first one is unapologetically in your face which i like once it’s worn for the right occasion.The other gris montaigne is sweet ,classy and feminine leaning .Perfect spring/summer scent

I love Oud Ispahran its so wonderful. I love that it is unapologetic and intense. I hate that most current perfumes are insipid and last two minutes on the skin. Most Eau de Parfum smell and last like the Eau de Toilettes of the 80's and 90's. They are not worth their price tags however, this one is. Would love you to review Oud Rosewood and Holy Peony to.

I love Leather Oud but yeah, it is hard to wear. Oud Ispahan is also super nice to me but not something I would wear to work. Purple Oud also is pretty good. There are quite a few I like. Balade Sauvage is superb. As is Feve Delicieuse and I agree that Tonka Imperiale is maybe better but the almond note just kills me every time.

I have only tried Ambre Nuit, Spice Blend and Santl Noir but i have to say that i love santal noir. So far it's my number one fragrance out of my top five. I hope you get the chance to review it and/ or try it soon. I really want to try Mitzah and Vetiver next.

Please tell me if you know anything about Oud Ispahan and Fève Delicieuse being reformulated , because I’m really itching to pull the trigger on both, but I don’t wish to waste money on scents that have poor performance

My favorite is the Gibon Les Paul Standard you have in the background, then Vetiver and Ambre Nuit. ;)

Love this like of fragrances, I have Fève Delicieuse, Purple Oud, Santal noir, Oud ispahan, I have booked a trip to Paris to pick up a large bottle of Vetiver as you can no longer buy here in Scotland. I'm very keen on purchasing Amber nuit as well. Great video Max.

Wow! Oud Ispahan is one of my favorite fragrances for winter... 😅 It's bad, but is gold in the its style, as you mentioned. One of best oud-roses perfumes that I have notice. Thanks, Max! Congrats from Brazil.

Own Ambre Nuit, but to me it feels like the Amber is more linked to Ambergris. Feve Deliciouse is another one, love it for its vanillic warmth but then again prefer MFK's Grand Soir. Do MFK collection. Cheers Max! Greetings from Croatia!

Mitzah, Ambre Nuit, Oud Ispahan lastly Patchouli Imperial. If I could only wear one fragrance the rest of my life it'd be Ambre Nuit. I have went through a couple of bottles of. that but I like Mitzah better but I love to wear Ambre Nuit to sleep.

Hey Max I have Gris Dior and Bois d'Argent. Should I get a 250ml of BDA? It's not loud but lasts on my skin for 8+ hours and Dior has made Iris so hard to get. The newer BDA works better on my skin than previous formulations
