Hi everyone, so let’s talk pronunciation of Pat McGrath. I had a subscriber approach me and let me know I was pronouncing her name incorrectly, so I looked it up on good old google and sure enough she was correct. But after looking into it further and checking an advertisement for Pat McGrath Labs, in which the TH is clearly pronounced, it now seems like I was saying it right all along. My fault entirely as I should have checked the advert first. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Long reign Pat McGraTH 🥳😁

Another excellent video Gemma & on a subject I've racked my fingers over throughout the years ever since wearing makeup as a teen & into almost my 50's now. Having porcelain, VERY cool undertone has always been a struggle w/blushes as I tend to have a natural blush already. Didn't wear blush for years until I was in my mid 30's as I thought it just made me look too flushed, etc. I was very self conscious of my pigmentation liking to switch up in a second especially if I was flustered. That & I'm sure I was applying it incorrectly. But having become more comfortable over the last 13-14yrs I've had the opportunity to try different brands & even shades within my cool light toned complexion. Also, you have been a large part of my product knowledge of not just blush & how to help it blend/enhance the face & not sit upon it like a painting. Loving everything from elf to Pat McGrath, affordable to the extravagant, I've acquired matte/shimmer/luminous blushes to use in different desired outcomes. I love my hourglass too. It's for the days, when I want to feel expensive 😅 and I lsonown milani luminoso. It's an everyday pick. I also love the loose blush from bare minerals. It really blends into my skin and stays all day. I really exited for the next video 😋

I’m No expert by a mile so validation is rewarding. When you said , foundation takes the natural skins glow away and blush puts it back, I was a renewed Wolf! I’ve been moving into tints & not foundations and bang, you told me why. I also ordered Lisa Eldridge (not as expensive as one would think) new blush in a tube. Be sure to watch her video about it cuz it’s a new way application. I may end up with this tube forever unless it has an expiration cuz nobody can use it all up. Best ever and I’d like your opinion. Incredibly natural. Love you and the Pack!💕

Great content as always, to be honest you have been a real help to me in decluttering & curating my makeup & skincare. There is something I would really like to see - neck creams/gels you & your mum’s thoughts. Its an area in skincare that seems to be ignored & we are all getting older😊

Once I used the Luminoso blush, I was hooked. It is my perfect color. Even when I try to wear another color blush, I always go back and top it with this one. I haven't found another blush that looks better, and I'm thrilled it's affordable~🤓

I think blush is really essential to a great makeup look. I know there are those who don’t like blush and either don’t wear it or apply it so lightly that it’s not visible to me. That certainly is anyone’s right, but privately I always feel the look just doesn’t feel finished and the person can look a bit ill. You’ve featured some beautiful choices here. I wish I could buy those really expensive blushes.

The No7 blush is the one I use and its brilliant for cool tone skin. It's also very good if you're not confident with applying blush as it blends beautifully

Gemma , fantastic video, again! I am sold on the Givenchy! Great value! I also have two Laura Geller ones on order. I buy a lot blind as I don’t get to the MU counters often so I tend to go deep into KZfaq reviews everywhere to get all the lowdown on the shades/ formulas with beauty KZfaqrs who all have different lighting and swatches can look quite different. I rarely make the wrong purchase now (you learn! ). Your videos really really help a lot! Feedback: First thought on your new studio lighting is it’s warmer than before. I’m not fussed either way but thought you’d appreciate what a viewer’s first impression is and what I noticed. ☺️❤️

You look gorgeous in this video today! Thank you for your vid, blush is the one thing that I am struggling to find at the moment - has to be a very light pink powder with no sparkle. Do you think many companies do that? Uh uh. Specially down here in NZ where it is a little harder to get some of the brands you love so much :). I love how you talk about warm and cool toned blush too, never thought of blush like that before.

Have loved Milani blushes for years. The packaging quality is so-so (the plastic ‘window’ in the lid often detaches) but I love, love, love the way the blush looks. Luminoso and Bella Bellini are both gorgeous shades - apply beautifully and last all day. Bargains!

Michele Wang was reviewing that Givenchy blush. I bought a glowy bronzer in the sale from Givenchy and it is the best thing ever! Hourglass blush and powders were the first high end item I bought and they are worth every penny.

I'm not a big fan of powder blush but both the Chantecaille and the Givenchy are winking at me, saying "you know you want us, you know you're going to buy us - why not now?" 😂🤣😂. If the powder Chantecaille blush is anywhere near as good as their liquid/cream one, I'm definitely going to be getting it. I don't think I have a Givenchy blush. Why? That loose blush that you love, sounds really similar to the new Jaclyn Hill mood light loose blushes. I got Love Language, and it is the most beautiful flush of blush that I've ever used. My husband looked at me and said, "wow you look really beautiful today, what did you do?!" And this man NEVER says I am beautiful. Ever. LOL

You would love the blushes from Em cosmetics, by Michelle Phan. Heavens Glow and Venetian Rose are so beautiful.

Gemma can you tell me if what I'm doing is wrong, I always match my blush to the colour clothes that I'm wearing, if I wear pinky colours then my blush is pinky, if I wear cream or brownie things then my blusher is peachy brown. x

Gemma, totally off topic, but if you ever do a video on body lotions, I thought I would let you know what I have discovered. I have a very sensitive skin and suffer from a bit of keratosis Polaris. I have tried loads of expensive creams for my 60 year old skin that was getting a bit crepey and the best one I found was Lacura body lotion from Aldi, fragrance free. It contains lactic acid. My crepiness on my arms just disappears when I use this and it helps with the kp as well.

If you like natural blushes, the Glossier ones in a tube are fabulous.

American KZfaqrs keeps recommending a N7 finishing powder called lift and luminous triple action (they say this is the dupe for Charlotte Tilbury s) . But I can't find it here in UK. McGrath is only pronounced without the "th" in Irish. Pat MaGrath isn't Irish and plenty of McGraths do pronounce the "th" The ONLY sure-fire way of finding out is to hear her say her own name and see how SHE pronounces it. Perhaps calling the company to listen to the automated welcome may also give the answer... 😎✌🏽

I'm not sure what it is, but you look different. It may just be the blush, which is fabulous on you, but it seems like it's something to do with your eyes. They look bigger or more sculpted somehow. Maybe it's the contacts, but we've seen you wear them before, so maybe not?🤔🤔🤔

Seems maybe Pat McGra wanted it that way, set herself aside even more possibly. I prefer the 'lower-end' atm but I still have plenty of blush. My face is small and well-structured so I hardly ever wear bronzer. Would much rather wear blush. Seems if you've ever had a drink or a glass of wine and you get that color on yr cheeks and ppl say Oh you look nice, then buy that color blush lol!
