Jaq was shown through the episode wearing a jacket with a pocket on the left arm sleeve, watch the final scene, killer has a pocket on the same arm/sleeve. Jaq told her girlfriend everything was going to be ok with the full knowledge sully wasn’t giving her a “pass”. killing sully was the only way of her staying alive and making sure they would be ok. Jaqs last scene set the motive and I believe showed the audience enough evidence that her intention was to take sully out before he had the chance to kill her or Becks Anyone else would have taken the drugs after they killed sully, jaq didn’t want any part of that anymore

To think that acting is a secondary trade to a lot of the cast is mind blowing! Top Boy should go down as one of the best British series of all time.

I love how the director says that everyone loved the idea of Sully not killing Stef coming from Kano, mentioning that it shows that Sully (not Kano) has some morals. This just shows how real everything was and how the characters actually live in the actors. This one was for the books

Whoever thinks it was Kieron's mum that did it, gotta be a bit halfwitted. Also whoever thinks that it would've been better for Stef to shoot Sully, would've spoiled his story.

The ending was brilliant. Sully had so many enemies, anyone could of done it. Left to the audience to go mad figuring it out when there is no single answer.

I think it was Jaq. The style of walk and dress looks like her. She’d have known he’d come after her and in order to protect her nephew and household, she would have been highly motivated to end Sully. I have also just realised that the producers are probably being consistent in playing on the irony of the situation. These gang members spent their whole gang life evading capture, killing and injury from others, yet in the end, it was their own, those on the inside who killed them. Sully killed Dris, Jamie and then Dushane - gang members killing each other. So it would be consistent for Jaq to have killed Sully.

Although the season was rushed and I feel like they could’ve given each storyline justice, I LOVED the ending ‘cause it evoked the whole meaning of Top Boy. I’m happy Steff walked away ‘cause it shows that he actually deeped what Jamie was teaching him. And as for Sully’s killer, I first thought it was Si but Jaq has more motives

Sully been to hell and back. Although people say he’s evil but look at his backstory and all the sh!t he been through. I would say he was a victim of circumstances and I understand his metamorphosis. Ya know the saying “as kids we cheer for the hero but as adults we understand the villain”

the sad thing is that if you remember back in Top Boy: Summerhouse when dushane killed Raikes for him wanting to turn sully in. He defended sully and killed raikes and said to sully "youre my boy and I aint gonna do you nothing. No matter how stupid you are" and yet in the final episode its sully that takes out dushane.

the ending reminded me of sopranos. tony - similar to sully - made so many enemies throughout the series, anyone could’ve ended him. sully never saw his bullet, which imo is a more peaceful, swifter way to pass.

After much consideration from an artistic POV, both Jaq and Irish are much too obvious to have killed Sully. BUT, I came across one theory which makes A LOT more sense, and has artistic value…. IT WAS RAFE - SULLY’S cousin. As his cousin, he would be the only other one to know about Natasha and Sully alluded to Dushane in S2 that, “… he’d be the type to wait until things died down and then sneak up on you.” Dushane responded, “I wouldn’t let that happen to you.” With Dushane gone, Rafe made his move and would be able to perform a cold blooded hitman like kill. He likely didn’t know about the food in the car and explains why it was left there. He’d also be the “ghost from the past” that the episode is referring to, as it would indicate a character we haven’t seen in a long time. It would resonate the message about him killing his friends who were like family, and ironically, it’s his actually family that takes him out in the end.

The ending is exactly what I've been saying since first seeing it, if you have many enemies, it only takes just one to out you.

I think maybe the killer purposely has a characteristic of a number of characters. Like a collage of the would be killers. It allows the viewer the decide who ‘their’ killer is and ends perfectly for each of us depending on who we wanted to have pulled the trigger. Jaq’s coat, Kieran’s mums hair cover, Si’s skin complexion etc etc.

Also think it was Jaqs, for the reasons listed here and because the hit was so calculated and well executed. She waited for him to put his gun away (which she probably knew he would've been carrying), put his seatbelt on and turn on the car, then hits him at his most vulnerable moment. That's not the work of some gangly try hard like Si, that's the kind of efficiency that only Jaqs would've been capable of, given what we've seen in terms of her skill and experience in matters of violence.

I FINALLY got to finish Top Boy and saw the last episode yesterday. It's odd to me all the comments really think Jaq did it which doesn't make as much sense as everyone seems to think. She wouldn't take that risk at this point honestly. Her saying "everything is going to be ok" was honestly just her saying that so Becks wouldn't worry. She herself didn't know exactly what would happen because Sully was predictably unpredictable. I figured it'd be the Irish if anyone. Those kind of drug families are usually MASSIVE and are very good with networking to the point they have people you've never met that know everything about you. There's no way they wouldn't figure out who murdered 3 of their prominent family members and a bunch of their goons. Especially if they were powerful enough to knock off the Moroccans and ship their heads to the UK. The Irish would've known Sully was working for them and upset about the deal. They're the most likely culprit, with the only other strong possibility being someone from the guy who was supposed to get Dushane out of the country. He lost two seasoned men with high powered weaponry. He obviously also was a powerful person who wouldn't appreciate someone fucking up their operations without retribution.

The fact that the killer didn’t try and get in car and steal the drugs indicates to me that the original take must have been with Jaq killing Sully. There were some great scenes in this series, I felt very tense at times but I think overall it felt rushed and would’ve been been much more epic had it been longer on a slow cook like season 2. The Irish gangster should have had many more episodes to dwell in, he was killed off too quickly, should’ve been 12 episodes at least, oh well.

Not showing the killer was the best in my opinion. It shows the cold reality of their world that life is not a movie. I felt they failed to do that with Stef and Sullys last scene. I was one of those that wanted to see Stef become Jaime thru the circle of hatred but I felt their last scene kinda reminded me of Aryas last arc in the final episodes of Game of thrones season 8 where she travels all the way from Winterfell to Kings Landing to kill Cersei (and remember that is a months journey) until she meets the hound that tells her that it’s gonna be dangerous and she’s like “yeah you’re right” and turns around. Even if Stef would have told Sully that he forgives him I would be ok with that. But “You’re not worth it”? That just feels off for me. Other than that, Top boy was a phenomenal serie, bravo!

Ending the show period was a huge letdown. I’ve been watching this show since summerhouse premiered. Had to wait 10’friggen years to find out what Dushane was guna do about Michael getting thrown off the balcony. They did a great job on this from start to finish. Realist “how the streets go” show there is. Anyone can get it.

Plot twist - it was Erin or Erins mum, the title of the description makes sense that way, Dris's killing was Sullys first downfall and ultimately his last.

I disagree. I don’t think that anyone could have killed Sully. Why did he go untouched for so long despite having so many enemies from season 1 through to season 5? He was practically untouchable especially by the last season. You only kill the top boy if you have the means to take over and have access to their supply or you have your own supplier. Even after all the shit Sully did to Jermaine, he still wasn’t touched. Not even by Rafe because of an agreement made with Dushane. It took someone as Crazy as Modi to attempt to take him out and he wasn’t someone who thought about consequences. The fact that they originally revealed the killer shows they had a specific killer in mind, the build up to the killer’s reveal would of had foreshadowing so it made sense, they just chose to blur the killer at the end for the alternate version which they went with for the Netflix release but the build up and foreshadowing still remains. It was clear that it was a key part of Jaq’s story arc. It was her problem to fix. She stole his drugs in an attempt to save the community and do something right because the deaths of both Ats and Lauren her sister weighed heavily on her. She has responsibility over Lauren’s new born and recognises she has to leave the roads and life of crime. There is one loose end. One problem she must solve first. Take out Sully because she will be running for the rest of her life otherwise. This is further incentivised once Sully revealed he killed her close friend Kit, someone she and the community went through so much at the beginning to keep from being deported. In the end the only person who has everything to gain and nothing to lose as in no come back by killing Sully is Jaq. Everyone else is either too scared of him to make a move or tied to him in the sense that he is the plug who supplies their food. He brings the drugs for London Field’s/summer house crew to sell. It’s not like he had the drugs with him. You kill him you don’t get the drugs. It’s not a rival gang robbing him for his drugs. A rival gang would want to find out where his drugs were and get them first. It’s why he was kept alive in Peckham so long because Cypress and Khadeem wanted their drugs first. The Irish were taken out clean. No one to ID the killers. No camera footage. No one would have known it was him that took them out. Irish were rubbed out without come back just like there was no come back for the Liverpool lot who were also out of the depth coming to a place they didn’t know and fucking with people they did not know. It’s a good marketing strategy though, to not show the killer clearly makes people talk about the show for years to come. Makes it stay relevant longer but the fact that the director knows who the killer is, proves that it is someone we would know as well which is why he said he won’t be the one to tell us and smiles. If top boy has a Blu-ray release it will probably have the version showing the killer without the blurred filter. It’s not like the who did Negan kill in the walking dead, the cast know it was Jaq. They just aren’t allowed to discuss it yet.

So he basically confirmed it was NOT Stef because he said it would’ve been a leap for Stef to go from a humble boy to a cold killer. So that leaves Jaq and Si as the possible killer.

So there is an answer then
