Thank you for the video! I’m going to try your top faves, especially the Cocokind 😄😄 I tried both the Biossance and Pippette. Biossance is one of my all time fave! Works really well with my dry, darker toned skin and hardly leaves a white cast. As for Pippette (I have been using it religiously for almost a month, reapplication every few hours), it’s way too heavy and greasy, even for my dryass skin. The white cast from Pipette is more noticeable than Bio. The only reason I am continuing to use Pippette is because 1) I paid for it and I’m not letting it go to waste 2)I’m mostly home, so it doesn’t matter that my face is a bluish, greasball 3)when I do go outside, I have a mask on so hides half my face. Needless to say, I will not be repurchasing Pippette.

ahhh thank you for this video, ramón! i have been eyeing a lot of these sunscreens but am currently going through the ones i have. and finding something that works for my skin tone, is a good price point, has great spf coverage & a nice experience while using it has been tough for me. but your videos have helped me so much (plus, i appreciate you mentioning which ones with the tint have cool undertones bc i agree, those make me look grey & not my best). adding these top 5 recs to my list once i run out of what i have. i currently use sunbum & love it, but i have dry skin & would love a little more radiance so ill consider kinship or cocokind too. anyway, can't wait for your upcoming video!

You helped me find the most amazing sunscreen i've ever used which is the one by Some By Mi. It's very creamy, doesn't leave a white cast, not greasy and have a slight sent of tea tree. Absolutely love it! However, i used to get it from iherb which stopped selling it 😭😭

I've been hunting mineral sunscreens lately, especially after Purito was "exposed" for having a very low SPF number - i haven't repurchased the sunscreen in 5 months, but i use B-Lab and Keep Cool, which also uses 2 organic filters, although they use the broad spectrum Tinosorb S instead of Uvinul T150. I tried Make P:rem Sun Fluid a week ago, as many reviewers said it leaves little to no white cast. Yes, it almost looks "invisible" indoor. But outdoor, the cast kinda makes me look ghostly. Heck, it even looks better on camera than in person, as my brother told me i looked really pale. By the way, my skin tone is a shade darker than yours, and i'm quite confident to try Axis-y after seeing your review about it a few days ago. Hopefully it is the right sunscreen for me, and i don't need to find another sunscreen anymore.

The AXIS-Y COMPLETE NO-STRESS PHYSICAL SUNSCREEN is my HG!! - It wears very comfortably throughout the day on my oily skin. - No whitecast on my brown asian skin color. - Non-drying, very light-weight, nice semi-matte finish - Does not break me out - Does not pill under make-up However it's currently out of stock EVERYWHERE 😭 really hope it's not discontinued!! The SomeByMi one really works well on me too but it gets slightlt oily after a few hours so I prefer the Axis-y more.

Omgg, I needed this so bad!! It's so hard to find physical sunscreens for brown skin with little white cast and I really don't like the feel of them on my face 😭 I have the axis-y one but I still want something lighter. I really tried to! Even aside from the 4-5 days I test on screen for videos, I’ll continue to use sunscreens because I had always intended to do a roundup at the end of the year, and through several months and various weather, skincare combinations, and everyday scenarios, it just was on the tea for me. It left me heavy and greasy and slimy and i could not wear it in public. BUT I understand people who do like it! Sunscreen at the end of the day, is VERY PERSONAL and very subjective. That price point kills me though. If you liked Biossance, try Pipette. They’re sister formulas from the same manufacturer!

I honestly don't mind chemical sunscreens, but I haven't had any luck with finding any that don't make my eyes water, even chemical ones without oxybenzone. I now resigned to using the cerave sunscreen stick around my eyes although it does leave a heavy cast and then chemical sunscreen on the rest of the face. I hope I can find a good tinted mineral sunscreen so I can just apply it all in one go. Thanks for the recommendations, also loving Russian Roulette in the background!

Cerave tinted made my face look like an oil factory. Australian gold is less oily but sticks on my mask and I think is breaking me out 😭 Will try some by mi this time. Hopefully, it's gonna be the one for me. Thank you for this!! It's really helpful! ❤️

Let’s be honest; anything you put on your handsome face is gonna look great! Albeit a little frosted, but handsome nonetheless!😂 I’m so stinking pale it’s not necessary for me to worry about white cast, but I refuse to give my coin to brands that attempt to trick folks with bogus marketing! I love your videos!!!! They help me so much in terms of finding sunscreens 🥰. I was wondering if the Sun Bum tint was strong? Do you think it would work on a lighter but warm toned skin color? I tried the Australian Gold one and it made me look orange.

Oh it’s definitely more sheer than the Australian Gold sunscreen. The tint for sunburn just lets it blend a little more universally. Australian Gold is like a medium coverage foundation lol

"I can't wear that in public I look crazy....LOL!" Last summer I used the replenix sheer physical sunscreen. It was great. When you first put it on you look like a greaseball but it dries within 15 mins. NO whitecast! I switched the pump that it came with for a different one I had from an old sunscreen & it was great. Now I need a new sunscreen so I'll check out your recommendations.

Ramon, I bought the sun bum sunscreen based off your recommendations but I feel like I have a hard time rubbing it into my skin because of how silicone forward is it. Yes there are big differences between chemical & mineral sunscreens. There are even ones that are chemical & mineral combined. Most of the cheap ones at the drugstore like Coppertone are chemical. Every time I used a chemical one it would get in my eye even though I tried to avoid the area & washed my hands. I watched lots of videos & decided on the replenix mineral. You look like a greaseball for a few minutes but then it completely dries. Also with chemical ones it takes 20 minutes for it to start working so you should put it on in advance. Its harder to find mineral ones that don't leave a white cast but they do exist.

The primary difference between mineral and chemical is the molecular composition of the filters. They both function in similar ways. Chemical sunscreens don’t take 20 minutes to start working. With both sets of sunscreens, there’s a need for the sunscreen formulation to set and adsorb into the skin to be able to form the protective barrier it needs to to function properly. The old school chem filters (ones approved in the US) have the likelihood to potentially cause some irritation for compromised or sensitive skin, but this is on a filter by filter basis. The newer filters approved in the EU and Asia have a much better safety profile. What you find at the drug store is a good mix of both chemical and mineral. It’s the overall quality of the formulation that can determine the price point, not necessarily the filters

Have you tried the Allgood spf 30 mineral sunscreen before? It comes in both tinted and nontinted version and I'm wondering what you might think about it. It has alot of good moisturizing ingredients but ive heard that it doesnt leave you shiny unlike some other sunscreens. It's supposed to be pretty absorptive so hopefully it wont leave residue in your beard. I've seen it recommended by both Hyram (nontinted) and Liah yoo (tinted version) and its also available at Target. K Love you Ramon!

I know the cervave tinted one can transfer super easily but I’m curious about the other tinted spfs you mentioned. They seem to wear better but I don’t wanna worry about it rubbing off everywhere haha

Hi! Got a question.. i accidentally bought Sunbum spf 50 (but is not marked for face). Is it okay or is it safe to use it on the face? Or do i have to purchase sunscreen specifically for the face? Im so glad to have found u! Very informative.

I wanted to love kinship so so bad bc their brand philosophy is nice but even though they didn't add "fragrance" it still smelled really really sweet and it ended up irritating my skin a lot :(

i love the reg tinted australian gold spf 50. it is a bit cool but it sinks into my skin and goes away

10/10 Dr Dennis Gross Sheer Mineral Sun Spray Broad Spectrum SPF 50 Protection but they just recently discontinued it😑 no white cast and mineral, they need to bring it back ASAP!

I use the cicativ zink sunscreen from korea which is fantastic! In the beggining i had white cast but then when i put enough moisterizer the white cast blends in better in the skin. Too bad they stop producing this as with makeup my skin is not shiny at all and I have oily skin. I think the niacinamide helped control the oil.

Have you tried Bliss “Block Star Invisible Daily Sunscreen” it melts into my skin and doesn’t leave a cast for me! The only one Ive tried so far that isn’t over drying and actually smells/feels/looks good! Thanks for the videos!! Extremely entertaining and educational!

I feel about the AG like you feel about Sunbum. My undertone is extremely cool so the beige/pink tint works GREAT. Smoothing & primer like. It won't suit everyone. But we pink palefaces tend to get overlooked by the industry just like very deep or olive completions. I'd be horrified if they discontinued it.

That was a really great video and I found some really good sunscreen candidates but I cant seem to get them anywhere or the shipping is really expensive (I live in Finland). Some by mi's sunscreen costs 30€ with shipping. Other sunscreens get just more expensive.

I needed a sunscreen (i don't wear sunscreen 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️ but I'm about to turn 30 this month so I need to start asap), tried the sun bum tinted one, i shouldve gone with the non tinted one. I look grey 😥 I'm gonna keep using it cuz why not, no one is gonna see my face under my mask (i feel the same way about my hair dye, it's faded out but 🤷🏾♀️ IDC, who is gonna see me?). So far besides the tint I don't mind it, i might try the nontinted one they have next time. Thanks for testing these out for us. I so wanna shop your links but I'm keeping my shipping minimal to things I need and can't find alternatives at the stores. Hence why I didn't get kinship, cuz the ulta here apparently doesn't carry the brand here wtf
