That battery repair mode works sometimes it shocks the battery with high voltage low amperage usually works on agm battery's they get a crust on them internal and the voltage blast breaks them up

A decent charger is worth it’s weight when you’ve got a fleet…seems like something always has a dead battery! I’ve got my big fleet charger and my little battery tender. It’s kinda like goldilocks though… one is usually too big for the job and the other is too small. That one looks handy. That ol 55 Chevy pickup is lookin awful lonesome out there. We ain’t seen the Mrs take it for a burn in a while!!! Always enjoy watching her go on an “express” parts run.

Well I’d say that the charger is better than most of them for sale now , I recently purchased a new battery charger and had good reviews on their website..but this $250.00 charger won’t charge a dead battery..yup wont , so I took it back and they told me it needed around 11 volts before it would charge a battery..lol ….I still have it they told me they don’t take electric items back once you use them . I tore the old one apart 12/24 volt charger booster and fixed a bad wire ..live and learn .

My experience with questionable batteries is anything under 12. 5 volts at full rest for a while means a dead battery. This unit might get you out of a jam when AAA is a 45 min wait!

If you have a charger like this i think youre supposed to disconnect it from battery first before you crank. Its a shame who wrecked that Caprice..

"repair" prob means "desulfate" .. Just my 2 cents.

You didn’t do the charger any favours with your review. You never tested any of the batteries after charging and you end up starting the generator/welder outside with the charger still plugged in. Poor review
