A painful omission in this compilation is Xandria ( Dianne van Giersbergen) not being mentioned.. Dianne is one of the best singers in the bussiness

You can complain all you want, about the great singers/bands that are missing, but there is an incredible list here! Many, some people have never even heard of, and this gives them a great opportunity to check out/follow more bands. (imo). Yes, there are some missing, but still... Give the uploader credit for finding all of the ones they did! I know for me, I have found several 'new to me', bands that I will be checking out! Cool vid!

Sorry it's me again, I hadn't watched entire video before you deleted the previous one. But I found another mistake. In 43:28 - Lina Victoria is actual vocalist of Sleeping Romance, but song "Fire & Ice" and their first two albums was sang by Federica Lanna. Lina Victoria was joined the band in 2020 and her vocal is only on their newest album. You don't have to upload this video again if it takes a lot of time. I appreciate your work

1) Excellent and impressive catalog! I love female voices in metal and only knew about 25% of the singers mentioned. 2) Thank you for expanding my repertoire of excellent female singers to such an extent. 3) Thank you for confirming to me just how vast is the glorious scrum, with Zora's voice, magnified by Blackbriar, millions of light years above it (to my ears). 4) Among the big absentees I would have mentioned Ifa and especially *Scardust*.

No wonder bands old and new regardless of whose who and whose what are going back to when metal wasn't denigrating individuals and bands by their bloody gender! Women in metal, whether "singing" (another word for vocals, not female fronted, that ain't a job that's a political statement real women in metal don't want), growling, drumming, playing guitar or fetching beers (real metal fans know who that is) were just part of the bloody band. I've been a metalhead my whole life since before dudes discovered hairspray, and listened to bands regardless of gender and race, and who cares what they get up to in the privacy of their own bedrooms! This exclusionary crap is what's killing the one thing in this world that's giving me and millions of men and women just like me the strength to survive this effed up, putrid effing world. I say no to this sexist crap. 🤘🏻 🎸 🥁 🤘🏻

For me, I have a tendency of looking and listening for those songs and singers who stand out from the crowd. Unfortunately, a lot of this sounds very much alike with the exception of one, and that one for me is Tarja Turunen, who in my opinion is in a Class heads & shoulders above all the rest!🦇🥀🖤🥀🦇🎸🎤

Tristania and Sirenia don't exist anymore, mainly because of the leaving of Vibeke Stene in 2007. They were never able to replace her and died a slow death as groups.

beaucoup d'omission parce que la plupart des groupes sont assez médiocres, à part les 10 grands groupes incontournables aucune bonne surprises mais d'où sortent toutes ces hurleuses que l'on confond avec des chanteuses ,, on oublie le groupe de la soeur de Liv Christine Midnattsol d'une autre pointure que ces hurleuses, et puis les russes blackstorm, sans oublier , Mayan, Tristania, Amorphis

Annette with Nightwish? She was never a good fit with that band! Floor is the one that should have been in her place! Amy Lee? She had the one song with that band & has since shown what kind of a POS she is by worrying over who is in & out of the band!

Wtfrick is wrong with you?! Annette was really great (just not for you) and Amy Lee was used and abused by her band members, as such as she made many songs (like "Better Without You" here in the first verse where she's being told to shut up: "...you're not in control, 'cause this is my world, little girl, you've been lost on your own") to show what happend and how, finally, she has control over her self and her music. Get your facts straight.
