Square Enix has struck gold with Final Fantasy VII Remake and Rebirth, with the 3rd and final came coming in a few years. After all that is done, which game should get the full remake treatment next?

8 deserves it the most for me since everyone didnt really have the gaming intuition and patience to deal with junctioning when it first came out. then they can clean up and tighten the story plot and make it more compelling. throwing this wish out there into the void and seeing what happens

This is my personal opinion and i konow it is going to be controversial: -i want them to remake all final fantasy games in order: 8, 9, 4, 5, 6, 10, 12, 13,each having 2 parts with a 2 year development between each one so that there is care (in order to achieve this there should be atleast 2 different teams moving from 1 to the other) -rebirth is a good point on how to go for the next games but it can be expanded, experimented and -i want them to be different in story , but touch on the same beats, just have good writing, pacing and direction (i am very scared they will go over the top but i am sick of alternative universes and timelines) -focus on characters, their developement without having all of them as playable (3 person party and 6-7 total members) -i want to be surprised and engaged and i think that there is room for something new and if you dont agree just play the old games with or without mods

I think we'd probably all be dead before we got to experience a remake of the entire series, lol. I am down for 8 and 9 being done first though for sure.

im gonna come out and say it "ENOUGH WITH THE FFX REMAKES!" dont get me wrong, i do like X and it was the first final fantasy i played but its had enough, it time to give another game a go like 8 or 9, maybe even the original for nostalgia sake i would like a ff7 dirge of cerberus remake but im not sure how likely that would be

I don't think I even mentioned FFX, but I do believe 8 or 9 should be next for sure, preferably 9.

I wonder if they ditch turn based and use Rebirth's combat system would they still incorporate Junctioning? Or would they ditch it all-together? I can understand why a lot of fans don't like it, but it is kinda FF*'s identity, well that and Triple Triad of course.

That's fair, it just never clicked for me sadly. I do acknowledge a lot of people love the game though, it just isn't for me as much as the other 2 PS1 Final Fantasy's were.

FF8 is my favorite. I do NOT want them touching it. They are ruining 7 and I don't want Kingdom Hearts 8

I mean I also adore FF8, but it definitely is the craziest out of the PS1 final fantasies, with time travel, playing as a separate protagonists from your dreams, going to space. It's kinda nut's, lol. And I actually really enjoy what they've been doing with Remake and Rebirth.

FF8 is my favourite too, but I would love to see it improved with new graphics, actor voices and better battle system. I wouldn't change much of the story, I enjoyed it so much as it is! I'm also enjoying the FF7 remakes, I think they have put a lot of care into making them.

@@shemseh Would remaking FF8 be possible with only 1 game though? That's my big question, I feel like it would need AT LEAST 2.

@@Drexxyl I also think it would need more than one part for sure.. I think minimum 3 like ff7.. with the amount of time it takes to make I don't see them remaking this game, but I hope they do at some point! It's my favourite game and they should consider it next after ff7 over any other game 🤣
