Frankie Edgar vs Gray Maynard 2 & 3, Brock Lesnar vs Shame Carwin, Anderson Silva vs Chael Sonnen 1, Pat Barry vs Cheick Kongo, Conor McGregor vs Nate Diaz 1, Holly Holm vs Miesha Tate are some great examples.

He just hasn’t been the same since Izzy humped him. He looked utterly terrifying on his march to the title fight. Not many people can go punch for punch with Yoel Romero and come out victorious. I hope he finds his groove again. I’d like to see him fight Strickland next.

I hope costa doesn't let his emotions take over and fights a smart fight. If he gets in there with the right mindset and allows the finish to present itself instead of forcing it, he's gonna prove a lot of people wrong

I don't think that's an issue. A couple days ago they uploaded that video of him running into adesanya and both of them were nice/friendly to each other. They have like competitiveness beef with each other but in my opinion it's no real beef between two guys that truly hate each other

If Costa can calmly trade taking a jab or straights to land some body shots and solid leg kicks he can catch Izzy in the later rounds. If he can’t slow him down that way I just see him being jabbed and leg kicked to a decision loss.

I love the pressure he put on his opponents and he doesn't headhunt too. Always alternating, going to the body with hard shots and then goes for the head with bombs. Im so hyped for this fight man this is a strikers dream match up. I usually bet on fights with my boys but this fight hell nah, I'm torn between Stylebender and Costa right now.

These shots in the body will hinder the movement of Adesanya, usually Strikers who fight with Adesanya always try to hunt his head, but Costa changes a lot between shots in the body and in the head, Costa stays on the day of the fight with 213lbs, I don't think Adesanya it will be the same after five shots in the body.

@@naveedahmad6728 Honestly if their first fight was 5 rounder you're probably right but now that Costa has that experience I think it would be a different story. He has come such a long way in his pacing from his first two fights to that Romero fight. Remember this guy only has about a dozen pro fights. The Romero fight was his first fight to ever go the distance. What stands out to me the most is Costa's work ethic. I believe that's the reason he has been able to progress so far despite having a relatively short amount of time in combat sports and I think that's the reason he will be able to learn so much from that Romero fight and apply it against Israel.

He connects all of his power shot in almost perfect form, and they connect at the end of his punches for maximum reach and power because his punches are so effective and his pressure footwork, he is able to cut off his opponents exit routes by utilizing his punches and a mix of high and low leg kicks. He is really good and natural with punching with both hands and kicking with both legs

He did go after Izzy multiple times if you actually watched the fight. He lost because Izzy used footwork to escape his pressure everytime. Being pressured is a choice. Just like people can close distance, you can create distance. Also Paulo only body or head kicks when people exit to his right. Izzy caught the body kicks and pulled on the head kicks. You motherfuckers have to stop discrediting Izzy by pretending it was just his opponent who messed up by having a bad gameplan. Izzy MADE Costa look bad because his performance was just that good.

What you on about, he did come at him and Adesanya absolutely shut him down lol. Its a bad stylistic matchup for Costa, and I don't think he can ever catch up to Izzy. Too many years of experience in difference between the two of them. You would need another skillset to beat Adesanya. Or you know, just be big enough and outwork him like Jan did.
