No it isn't, Its a show of weakness on the part of women, Lemos just gave up out of frustration, we saw Sam Alvey survive that exact same position for MINUTES with Ryan Spann (a 220lb man) squeezing his neck, Sam Alvey is regarded as the worst fighter on the roster wih a 7 fight losing streak. Lemos just fought for a title, all this says is WMMA is a joke and they don't have half the heart of even the worst male fighter.

@@radicaleyemag you can't do it standing unless you're facing someone with a skill deficiency i.e. they're a newbie white belt and you're a higher belt. A title-challenging MMA fighter should never tap to this, its embarrassing. No modern male UFC fighter ever tapped to it and that's a lot more force being applied to the neck when it's men fighting. Like I said, Sam Alvey survived Ryan Spann squeezing his neck the same way for minutes, no tap. WMMA is a disgrace. Accept reality.

Not at all, it was a skill deficiency on the part of Lemos that anyone ever taps to that. It's a tight standing hug, not a submission. All you have to do is fight one hand and you're not being choked, the person standing doesn't have the leverage to finish the choke unless you panic and do nothing which "title contender" Lemos did, showing a lack of heart and skill. Wacky things happening because women are bad at fighting is not impressive. No man on the current roster has tapped in that position standing.

The UFC clearly prefer Pereira and Aspinall to win this weekend. Been obvious from the interview schedules and now no finish highlights for Jiri and Pavlovic…and they’ve both finished all their wins in the UFC in devastating fashion.

I feel like due to the lack of Jiri and Pavlovich, they will both throw their fights so Aspinall and Pereira will prosper as they are bigger draws since england has a lot of fans and alex is a fan favourite due to his popularity from izzy and meme culture.
