Wurkkos and Sofirn are my favorite brands, what's cool is you can mix and match the tubes and heads, i have a Sofirn light with a Wurkkos tube and Sofirn tailcap

Great chat mate, full of suggestion & advise. We use flashlights for to see in the dark, brighten up on the work that we do in areas where there is less light and also for signal & survival etc so a high end flashlight is an excellent addition but not really a neccessity. At the moment we are using an Arlec mini with triple As batteries with magnets attched to the tail & body, even add a clip so we can use it on caps & hats. Looking forward to your next episode. When I looked for a light to hang on my backpack that also had a red led, the HD15 came up. Now I have a multi use angle light with a magnet that I can also strap to my head because it's so easy to attach/detach to/from the strap. Trying to use a "headlamp" as a regular flashlight is awkward. The USB C charging port and power bank ability makes it a winner. It's not a "posh" light that I would EDC on person, but it's a great companion that comes in handy. They're also not expensive that if it gets damaged or lost, it won't be too painful lol.

The HD15 with 4000k led is the ultimate outdoor flashlight. It is the pure pleasure of observing nature and its colors at night. I own many Wurkkos and Sofirn, they have become my favorite brands (same factory).

I've been on a Wurkkos and Sofrin kick lately and it's not just a fad the Wurkoss FC13 is just a fantastic light and great EDC light and the Sofrin SC31 Pro is an instant classic. Love the onboard type c charging ports, no more magnetic charging cables and I don't plan on going back.

In my experience recently with Wurkkos is that they have excellent Customer Service. I reported a sort of minor issue with the Flash light FCXX and send short video of it. They responded with my query and did steps in trouble shooting. Without too much messaging, Wurkkos just said they will replace it and I will just pay small amount only for the shipping cost. Amazing!

Just purchased my first Wurkkos flashlight, a 2000 lumen TD02 for $18 via Amazon. Excellent bang for the buck! ❤ I prefer Sofrin, but now I’m seeing Wurkkos with Andruil 2.0 interfaces, so who knows! So far, in multiple uses, the TD02 has served me perfectly!

Just bought an FC13 with an SFT40 for $33 with battery to replace my Harbor Freight QFL588 because I didn't want to keep buying 4 AAA's every time it died. Just from using it around my home, I already love the light. Will be putting it to the test next weekend when I take it out for use during an astrophotography session. This is also my first "serious" flashlight.

You have to try the TS22. It's a superfood that has a boost driver capable of doing over 1000 lummes for over an hour and capable of 4000 lummes with on turbo for almost a minute. I use mine for dirt bike riding at night on my helmet! Keep up the great content!

@@maxlvledcI bought 2 Wurkkos TS22 flashlights recently from official website but I am very disappointed to see that its magnetic tailcap is so weak that it can't even support its own weight when sticked horizontally. In my job, it is very important to use flashlight having magnetic tailcap. Now I regret spending total $84 on 2 TS22 flashlights.

I have the Wurkkos TS11 and it's a great compact thrower. I got it on sale for 22 dollars. Great quality, andril 2, super tight beam. Highly recommended. Also have the ts10 and the tint is beautiful on the hi cri, these are always 30% off on Amazon.

I like what wurkkos has on the table! TS30S is a great 90.2 LED flashlight 🔦 powerhouse.. I just grabbed a TS22 (edc) 6500k, on amazon... Looking forward to there other items... Sofirn looks great. I have an acebeam k75, wow.. nightwatch stalker 90.2 LED. I even found a headlamp 90.2 LED. Great power on that 1 for a headlamp.

They did tweak the fc12 ui recently. Instant turbo and instant moon. No ramp just 2 step modes. Voila! Wurkkos is my favorite brand. Period.

I currently have a Wurkkos HD15, TS11, FC13 SFT40 and a few days ago I just bought a Wurkkos WK03 5000K because at the time it was on sale for only about $15 I was able to get a WK03 with an extra magnetic tail cap which I put on the FC13.

My wurrkos td03 is simply the most effective light in arsenal. Wurrkos and sofirn, pretty positive they are sister companies related to eachother someway. They are both at the top of the game

I like Wurkkos and great list you have of top picks. I have the WK15, TS21, TS10 and HD20. One thing to note is the HD series both have battery springs on the driver and tail. That improves cell compatibility and impact resistance if you drop them. My favorite is the WK15 and for $27 its a steal. I wanted a XHP50.2 flashlight for its efficiency and its hard to get one from any brand with proper low modes. The WK15 having 1lm, 10lm, 100lm and awesome run time is amazing in those modes. I use low and medium modes a lot more than high and turbo. The other thing I really like is the use of green and red LEDs for charging and battery life indicators. Its the international standard for full and empty and very easy to understand much better than blue imo. Its also 21700 and supports the reverse charging power bank option. The XHP50.2 LED is pretty bad with fried egg look so I would recommend with this one getting the XHP50.2 B 6500k version which has less of that issue than the 5000k version.

6500k is a terrible tint. I never buy anything above 5000k. That blue tint doesn't cut through snow blizzard or fog, and it very effectively reduces your night vision.

@@vectraB97 I prefer usually 4000k-5000k but not with the WK15. But for some people that really hate 6500k like you 5000k would be the better choice. There is a 6000k version right now also. The WK15 is still one of the most efficient flashlights in terms of run time in the lower modes. Everyone should have one!

@@practicalguy973 the issue you have with the wk15 is because xhp50.2 LED is difficult to match with any reflector or optics. It will amplify any tint variation from that big LED. SST40 is much more uniform in light color, probably because it's way smaller. I would still have the tint variation over something that has blue light.

HI, I have two TS 21`s, both with this 21700 5000mah Battery one with the SST20 4000K and one with the Nichia 219C LED´s. -Wonderfull warm and nice color. I would recommend them to buy on Wurkkos Homepage with difusor and holster. -Yes the shipping takes a long time but it´s way cheaper. The power bank is just an emergency option since the nominal Voltage of this Li-ION Batteries are 3.6volt and the USB charging voltage for your cellphone is 5Volt. Each time I try to charge my phne I can only get 76%Battery into my S22Ultra with 5000maH Battery and it takes a long time to charge. But the UserInterface is one of my favorite. I can do lightpainting by using the constand on mode.

I just got a FC12 from their site shipped from China for $25...I'm impressed by it...I need to be careful with the turbo mode so I don't disturbed the neighbors when taking out the trash. It does get hot easily ...it gets warm even on medium . I need to remember not to touch the head...yes there is a warming on there. I was really worried when I took it out of the box...the whole flashlight was piping hot, and it was off. I'm not sure what happened. But i turned it on and off again and it seemed fine...no issue again.

Zebralights customer service at least used to be crap some years ago.... dont know how they are today... but why not buy same spec Wurkkos or Sofirn for less than half the price? That´s what I´m doing now... Waiting for my Wurkkos TS22 that´s been shipped while very happy with my Sofirn SC18 that I got 2 weeks ago! Really impressed for the money!

I much prefer a single side switch. I have two Wurkkos lights, an FC11 and an FC12. The FC11 is by far my favorite for in the house. It is floody and the warm color is great. The FC12 is a great light but I don't like the tail switch. It used to be my favorite outside light but I now prefer a Sofirn IF22A for outside and for long distance. It is a single side button. The nearest comparator Wurkkos has a tail switch so I went for the Sofirn. I like the IF22A so much that I have two of them, silver and black. I don't like flashlights with unusable high lumens and different colors emitters. I much prefer simple lights. The Sofirn gets very hot with 2,200 lumens so it is barely usable. Even the 1,000 lumens gets quite warm but is usable.

I'm pretty sure you can swap out the magnetic cap to the FS13. I think they are interchangeable. I'd definitely like to see a tutorial on how to use that interface.

If size is not so importent, the HD15 with all the functions is a "perfect" EDC light. Perhaps Spot+Flood+Red for the HD15 2.0.

You missed the flash pads on the newer lights. With an adapter you can update Andúril2 or you can restore your own settings after a reset or a factory reset goes direct to your own settings. You can bring back ceiling blink. Even new TS21 get flashpads. Regarding the SFT40 I wish Wurkkos would install the 5000K version (yes it's damn rare). And I think the TS11 is the 2023 lamp you want, a nice pocket thrower. I hope they make it with 5000K in the future

I love Wurkkos and Sofirn! They do not hold lumens, as long as top brands. But they are fairly honest in lumen ratings. For the most part. However, they do lie in distance. For example, Sofirn if22a is a great cheap thrower. But it lies about distance. Says it can go like 600 and something meters. Almost a half mile. Does not go that far. But it is great for the price. Love both brands.

Long time viewer and rly enjoy your channel. Iv modded several Leatherman from this channel and you have introduced me to Sofirn that I have come to love. My question is do you have a recommendation for a pocket clip for the Acebeam Pokelit beings I have broken mine and looking to upgrade the weak and poor clip on my Sofirn SP10 pro. sp10 pro uses the Olight baton 3 clip with no issues at all.

I also recommend the Baton 3 clip for the SP10. It is an excellent clip and it also fits the Wurkkos TS10 and the Sofirn SC21. You may have to slightly squeeze the wings of the clip to get it to grip the light tightly, as each clip is not exactly the same, but you will not be disappointed. The rose gold clip looks great on the blue and green SP10. Light copper is a better description of its color than rose gold. However on the SC21, the clip sticks past the tail of the light by a few millimeters.

My suggestion to those who are just starting to the Flashlight market, get Sofirn SC18 or Wurkkos W03 it's the same light and made by the same company. To those who don't know Wurkkos designs the Flashlight and Sofirn makes them, Wurkkos can have an exclusive design for themselves and Sofirn is allowed to borrow some of it's idea and include it to their own. But mostly they're not that too far apart from each other, the difference mainly most of the times is Sofirn would not sell their version a 4500K-5000K it's always 6000K-6500K and Wurkkos has both and the other difference is body design and sometimes Sofirns version is cheaper sometimes Wurkkos version is cheaper.

TS10 is the best intro enthusiast flashlight to ever have been made. it seems so odd to gush over a light its nearly perfect. nothing else compares to it with all its features. everything else is almost 2x the price with less features. thats what surprised me: how little i was getting with other "big brands" like olight and how much more i had to spend to get even just a fraction of what ts10/anduril2 has. wurkkos and other great budget light makers have disrupted the market giving you more for your dollar. i like that. i dont want some BS marketing words of how great the same "aircraft aluminum" is used or other marketing fluff. more brands should adopt Anduril bc its great. s/o to toykeeper for creating this amazingly useful UI.

It takes two 5000mah 21700 batteries to charge my cellphone from 20% to 100% with 10% left over in the batteries with my XTAR PB2SL The water proof nature of these flashlights gives it a step above my XTAR though I guess you could always carry extra batteries in battery rubbers in a ziplock bag in your backpack to swap out with the flashlight to continue charging stuff My sofirn hs41 headlamp has a water rating, I'm unsure if it's just a weather rating or a submerge rating, but it also works as a power bank I belive I have one of Hanks lights coming in the mail, I don't believe it has a water rating and it doesn't even have a USB on board

If only they start making more regulated and stable driver, it would be better for them even with a slight price increase!

I cant see any of that as an issue in use. I've been using many of these with unregulated drivers, you cant see a gradual drop in lumens to the human eye very easy and until the battery is low. You end up with better run time being unregulated also. The ATC stability fluctuations is only going to happen if you drive the flashlight on turbo or high where its getting hot. If you use it practically and normally its not going to happen in day to day use. I hate noticeable PWM flicker much more than ATC control stability and these flashlights don't have that issue at all with PWM.

@@practicalguy973 I saw it but not that much of a bother on S2+ when it went down to around 25% battery (standby lamp for hours straight), you can definitely tell it's slightly dimmer but it doesn't hinder it from being useful. I just prefer regulated lights! :)

@@practicalguy973 my edc which is TK22 TAC is said to have PWM on a review but I can't see it even when adjusting my shutter speed on camera so I guess PWM only matters if the frequency is really noticeable by the naked eye

@@nekkomr Yeah having a regulated driver is preferable to some people. I wouldn't complain if Wurkkos added that but would be more cost and in some cases loss of efficiency with cheap regulated drivers, it would just need a battery level indicator since regulation will just continue in the same brightness until the battery is close to dead on low modes in most cases.

However, its like almost every light from them, although great, has some Achillies heel. Yesterday I dropped my ts21 on a concrete just because the hole for a lanyard ist incredible sharp and eats through them like crazy. My ts10 works great but has few specks of dust under the lens, sooo... quality control. Still for the price this 🔦🔦 are almost unmatchable.

They send me lights, I get about 3% from Amazon..that's it. I say no too most companies that want me to say specifics..when I look back I want to feel like I was being as fair as I could be.

In EU I like Sigma it's German made and I haw one for bike helmet 750 lumens but it so good. And I haw one on handle bars with 1,500lumems not regulated yust hard batery with out anything alse but that Sigma is wery good company .I use it regulare and for 50€ you can't find that cind batery also is waterproof.

Not for thsg price, but the olight parun mini 2 meets all other stats. But uses their magnetic charging.
