The 130 Coupe is one of my favorite designs for coupes of the 1970s. Very handsome

The Fiat 130 is gorgeous, and it’s v6 engine is a characterful masterpiece

The Fiat 130 Coupe with that icy face, elegant shapes and powerful V6 engine whose sound is simply sublime, is one of the most fascinating cars ever. I love that gorgeous Fiat, a piece of Italian art!

This video reminds me of a Hitchcock movie from the 50s.

was that a green screen for the driving shots?!

504 Coupe any day of the week.

The Peugeot 504 is easily the best. He was talking nonsense about the ride and handling. The 504 would have been the best of the three and of course it had all the other sound engineering to go with it. And the Coupe 504 would have had disc brakes all round, all round independent suspension and a fuel injected V6 or 4 cylinder that actually worked, a novelty in the 70s! Then there are the looks, the 504 coupe wins hands down. And no, the 504 saloon was a very handsome car and not dowdy at all. Over three and half million happy customers were not wrong. I was one of them - the 504 saloon I had was the best car I have ever owned. I wish I still had it now.

The green screen is a joke guys, the review is meant to look like a 70s TV show hence 'The coupes' title

Certamente Signore Andrew ... I suppose this spirited strip .. did come in on a miserable day .. for humour . for some lads 😊☮️

A review of the Lancia Gamma which doesn't mention the power steering snapping the cam belt?

I'm amazed the BBC went in for these hammy studio shots with the presenter uselessly twisting the steering wheel back and forth like something out of a Holllywood B-movie.

It's because the feature is sending up a genre of television in which the "heroes" would have driven cars like this in just such a manner, in studios. It's tongue in cheek.

These cars were all sublime. I have a particular weakness for the Fiat. Their saloon versions weren't "stodgy", I feel, just less glamorous. Not a great review in that respect.

Awful review. The green screen and the horrible script while the car was rocked to simulate movement made for an inauthentic appraisal of three interesting and iconic cars. Dismal.

Dismalissimo.

Yes, old Top Gear was very "dumbed down" by this time.

A dumb way to talk about these masterpieces. Italians do it much better.

Steve Berry from the time when top gear was good he used to do the motorcycle reviews on top gear before Clarkson banned them he hates motorbikes 🏍
@digitaldave24294 жыл бұрын
Think Clarkson had left Top Gear by this time, this was the late 90s and he didn't come back until the reboot in 2002

What a terrible review. Parker driving lady Penelope in her rolls was more realistic

I’d take the Gamma please, and lose the endless tiresome references to 70s TV shows........
