Look at car throttles podcast, they had one of the longest stings on, he's a stunt driver. If interested at all in the stig I don't think you should miss that episode!

The koenigsegg was probably the most expensive one, but also probably the one where the manufacturer was the most chill about, Christian Koenigsegg is such a chill guy

@Sanchit Rabadey No. “Black” Stig was sacked by the BBC, because of the identity of the original "Black" Stig, Perry McCarthy, was exposed by a Sunday newspaper in January 2003, and confirmed by McCarthy later that year. The black-suited Stig was subsequently "killed off" that October in the series 3 premiere, and replaced in the following episode by a new White Stig who lasted through to the end of series 15. The Morgan three wheeler finish is one of the best framed scenes on top gear. The distance from the line, his elbow hanging out, and him looking at the camera. So gooood

I was going to say about how cars are usually fitted to the steam catapult for the carrier, but I did see the can on the back lid after the 2nd watch through. Thats also a British carrier, and the American navy would cowboy it up a bit so yours makes more sense

You're aren't getting the full potential out of a car if you aren't pushing it right to the limit. And that's a professional race car driver's job. That's why the best drivers will sometimes spin. With a good car, they'll be able to recover when the car starts to get loose. But a bad car won't let you recover. The car just says "ok, you pushed me too hard, now I'm going to make you pay!"

The best fail is the Stig taking a hot lap in some agricultural tractors and fell out of the seat of one going through a turn. That’s the hardest I laughed watching that show and I loved the show with Clarkson, Hammond, and May.

To be fair, that wasn't a real Lancia Stratos. It was a kit car with an Alfa V6 bolted in the back. (Which actually made it more powerful than the original Stratos).

Schumacher was not the stig, it was Ben Collins... Schumacher taking off the stig helmet was done for whatever reason, but he was not the actual driver
