israel arechiga my opinion is fields would still beat out all of them in a game due to his running ability and accuracy. That's a rare combination you don't see very often at all. Looking back at jt I agree. Not taking anything from him, but I still believe those 4 -5 I'm talking about would've given him a run for his money. People gotta remember that these "rankings" "stars" have a lot to do with the success of the program around them. Jt was at Mater Dai. Recruited team= more time in the pocket. Better receivers. Better def. Ext ext. Fields also from a powerhouse program. In 2019 there were a few that are not from programs like that. Which means they may have less time in the pocket and less talent around them. That being said it could be argued that this class could be extremely underrated unlike yrs past.

Otis Whitton sorry man. I don't see it. What I did and do see is every one of these qbs making those same "touch" throws and using the same anticipation in their highlights and at the opening. You'll have to dig a little deeper to find a REAL fact (no opinions)that makes qb1 better than qb2. I can make a legit arguement with facts that can show 1of the lowest ranked qbs at the opening COULD be better than any other, including JT. Doesn't mean I would be correct because no one will ever know. Why? Because in order to get a true #1 you'll have to interchange these qbs so they each get to experience what the other finds normal in the fall. It can't be done and that's how qbs get under/ over rated. JT is good and I'm not arguing that fact but he did play for Mater Dai which is a recruited team. That= more time in a clean pocket, a full compliment of D1 receivers, one of the best rbs in the country and a lights out def. Some have gone of those things. Take that qb with none of those luxuries and drop him behind a situation like Mater Dai and all of a sudden he's playing pitch and catch. The game is slower to him than it was for JT. See my point? Qb is the hardest position in sports to rank because his overall success heavily depends on the team around him.
