After being up that high, if you went down to road level and looked down at the water, you might not think it is high enough for jumpers at about 240 ft, but it almost always is, likely cuz of the way they impact the water. Some people have saved themselves after jumping but it is still very risky.

The bridge is inspected regularly, inspectors need some way to get around the bridge.
