The M-GUARD is an emergency call bracelet with an integrated emergency call button, GPS positioning function, telephone function and integrated fall sensor.
Contrary to many home emergency call systems, the M-Guard also works outside the house or apartment.
Here are the 4 functions of M-Guard
1. emergency call function by pressing the emergency button
In an emergency situation, the person in need of help can send an emergency call to up to 3 contact persons stored in the M-Guard by briefly pressing the emergency call button. A telephone connection is established and or an SMS notification is sent to the stored contacts or an emergency call centre, which also contains the exact location data of the device. The hands-free function allows the person in need of help to communicate directly via the wristband.
2. GPS positioning function
With the help of the GPS positioning function, it is possible to retrieve the exact location of the device at any time via an SMS query or with the app provided. In addition, so-called "Geo fences" can be set up to notify relatives when the wearer leaves the house or a previously defined area such as a radius of 100 metres around the house.
3. Fall sensor
The fall sensor built into M-Guard automatically triggers an emergency call in the event of a fall, and establishes a telephone connection to the telephone numbers stored in the device. Using the hands-free function, the fallen person can communicate directly via the wristband.
4. 2-way communication
Similar to a mobile phone, M-Guard can receive and send calls. The high-quality microphone and integrated loudspeaker enable communication with excellent voice quality.
