TOP POTTY TRAINING TIPS | 3 Day Method

Hey guys! Today I'm sharing some potty training tips for boys and what I wish I had know before potty training! We used the three day potty training method from the course below and Rowan was potty trained by day 5! So true on all of these. I tried 2 or 3 times and it did not go well. Now my daughter is 2.5yrs and it has gone really really well this time around. I also had to be ready for it myself. Now that we're both ready it's been successful.

I have done so much to potty train my almost 3 year old I would bribe and use the method of letting her run around with no pants and just constantly put her on the potty for 3 days I’ve tried to keep track of when she pees so I can get her on the potty and the harder I push the less she wants to do it

Idk how to motivate my son. He was only motivated the first day, then that wore off. He did great and even peed in the potty all on his own. I know you said no treats, and that's what I have been doing, but I can't help but wonder if I gave him a treat after he did so good using the potty without any prompting, if that would have enforced that behavior. He consistently pees in the potty after waking up (once I give him privacy, that is), and the others are hit or miss. But the thing is, he is practically dry overnight, always dry through naps, and he's only 21 months, and the longest he's held his pee awake is 3 hours, so all that said, I feel like he knows what the potty is for and is capable, but is only willing to use the potty on his own terms.

Omg I hate flush sensors and I haven't even tried putting my little one on a toilet with those yet! Lol great idea.

Well my 3 year old just turned 3 2 weeks ago and he shows 0 interest in potty training! I asked our pediatrician and he said if we force him or pressure him he will only hold it in literally causing constipation or accidents. We will let him decide for himself when he is ready! I hate changing diapers but I find this the most gentle loving way for him! ❤

I plan on keeping a potty in our van when we go out and put a diaper in the bottom of it. That way we can avoid like gas station bathrooms and stuff till she is a little older. We even have curtains in the van so perfect lol

Thank you! I made it! I would say the biggest thing for us was that he was telling us every time he went in his diaper!

@@MeganAcuna oh well done! How did you make it? With the outlines of photographs?? OK that sounds straight forward. My 25 months old does NOT do that. Haha. :)
