Nice to see everyone typing gg at the end. I see a lot of toxic games nowadays. 5912 down was a great idea.

Yeah, Black definitely blundered in their initial placements. Ore wasn't hard to come by at all on this board, so barring White from the remaining ore just didn't give them a particular foundational edge over their rivals. 8/4/10 was the clear play there to lock up that other coveted wheat spot as well as having a shot at the wheat port neighboring it (as well as prevent White from effectively capitalizing on the 2:1 ore port)...........then from there hope to get a little ore on the way back but, if out of luck, settle for the 6/11/12. I understand Blue's reasoning for taking the 6/2 (I'm surprised with how confident you were it would remain open considering the wheat distribution on the board), but they shouldn't have placed on the 8/5/10 to begin with. The play was clearly either 8/4/10 or perhaps 8/4/3 (top) to get the relatively rare brick and still have access to a 3:1 port. Besides you (minus the first placement road), White is the only one I think placed correctly both times. Not having ore is often a losing strategy, but I think they did a sound job considering how to compensate for that obvious deficiency via capitalizing on rarer resources and the 2:1 sheep port. I think besides the big mistake of building their first road to the 6/3 instead of the 2:1 sheep port which gave them too slow a start to rally back from, White fought admirably this game whereas I can't say the same for Black and Blue. Blue's setup was simply too slow and the lack of a port and weak wheat haunted Black. Well done! 🤩
