the woodlands have some good athletes - but there's a reason "why" Duncanville is back in either the Semi finals or the Championship game every single year... everyone says athlete... they have good athletes from their area... but "COACHING"... the system this man has in place, puts those kids in the hunt every single year and gives those boys national attention... because they're always top ranked nationally. He's done a helluva job.

Send me a link to a major service that's ranked a freshman at any HS in the country 5*.? 2. Any team can lose on any given day - it's why the game is played skippy. Already in the 6A/D2 given the weekend we just had where it was cold and rainy there were teams that probably should have lost that took a win and are advancing. 3. The amount of talent that's coming out of that area south of Dallas (Duncanville) / North DeSoto area - is sick. They have a ton of talent there at Dville. That's the second largest HS campus in the country. Look it up. Given the level of talent they have at DV and to wind up consistently either in the semi's or the championship game year after year - every year - is a testament to the man behind the wheel... the guy is a legend. 4. The teams that are going to come into Texas and probably put a beating to them - are Mater Dei, SJBosco, IMG, Bishop Gorman - those are all "destination" schools. They all get a great education, but no doubts it's secondary to the sport. 5. You have no clue what you're talking about. To be a top contender in what's usually considered the toughest bracket across the country (Texas 6A / D1) along with the fourth hardest playoff system which is the (Texas 6A / D2) - that's 64 teams in each bracket after a 10 game season... that's fairly grueling. Not many other states go the distance like that. Maybe Georgia with 32 team playoff? The only other areas of the country I could say that have "a" team that could compete would be Florida most certainly they have a few teams that can run with our boys, and Georgia may have 1 or 2 and then the destination schools. Keep talking though. We love talkers!!! ;)

that's no lie. In the Houston area - North Shore. In the Austin/SA area - Westlake. In the DFW area - Duncanville, I'd also put SouthLake Carroll behind them closely... All 3 of those teams have phenomenal coaching. Hence, all of these dawgs they're always back in the hunt.

what are you talking about? the woodlands don't rep Houston... they're a Conroe ISD school. Duncanville plays Westfield which is part of Spring and right on the city limits off of I-45 & FM1960... that's all hood there. They got a good program. I don't think it's going to be enough to handle Dville for 4Q's... but we'll see...
