In this video, I review one of the top rated lighted nocks on amazon. I was in a bind and needed a set of cheap nocks to bring with me to the property. So instead of buying extra lumenok's, I found these and decided to try them out.

That's a great review! Would a field tip work in shutting the light off? Would you consider doing a follow-up review in early August? Oh I hate those blood sucking miniature pterodactyls!!! My solution... I went to the high country desert. Not too bad up here. LOL!! 🤣

Thanks, I don’t think it will, I’ll test out some other items you my carry with you that could work instead of that mini screw driver. I can do a follow up as I shoot them more for sure! Good idea. Haha yeah even in Dallas it’s much better than here in houston

Nockturnal knock-offs. I got some cheap ones off Amazon with an external switch. Worked great, but the switch broke off when trying to shut them off. Battery actually lasted a few days.

Yeah, I was surprisingly impressed how well they worked given the price for them. I’m sure quality and all that isn’t as good as the big brand guys, but can’t complain so far

@@ZManOutdoors I shot through a turkey with one this year. Nock held up fine buy couldn't turn it back off. What I don't like about the Nockturnal and Glory Nocks are how thick they are compared to standard nocks. Causes nock pinch issues. I haven't tried Lumenocks yet but would like to.

I like my Lumenoks, haven’t run into any issues. Shutting them off isn’t the easiest, but I figured out a good technique that helps. I wish they had some dummy ones though for practice arrows

You can use tip of your pocket knife to turn it off. That is how I turn off my nockturnals

I have gotten some off wish with the external button no complaints other than I have had button come off on a couple but then that little screw driver will work with them battery prob isn’t as good but I find they fly constantly and once battery dies in them it still makes good practice ones but I do use them a lot as I don’t ever shoot stock nocks always lighted when practicing

Yep, same here, I always hunt with lighted nocks so I want to practice with them as well. Lumenok doesn’t have any dummy nocks which kind of sucks, so I had to buy another set to practice with. But I agree these cheaper ones seem to fly well and work pretty consistently, so may switch to these when my Lumenok’s go

Yes I do, it’s called DIY Bow & Arrow Stand. If you search my videos or the DIY playlist it should be in there! I made it awhile ago and still works perfectly.

Thanks for the recommendation. I got a pack and they seem to work great so far. Nokturnals are too $$ for someone who works for a living.

I found some similar ones on Amazon you don't need that tool they have a little switch. the come in a plastic case. I like them better than nokturnals

Mosquito 🦟's are territorial. To eliminate the one's you have been bothered by try this approach. A: save your egg shells after breaking them open. B: take two or three 🪣's Filling them with 1/4 water. C: add egg shells into bukets with water 💦. D: set the buckets in your yard. Remove standing water if you can from other spots. E: check the buckets every few days or so You will see the mosquito 🦟 larvae laid in the eggshell water. Dump larvae water in toilet 🚽 and flush'em. After a couple week's you won't have mosquito problems ☺️

@@ZManOutdoors You could also try sprinkling diatomaceous dirt on top of standing water you cannot drain. You can get a bag at your local feed store bro. ( I use it to eliminate fleas)

I’ll look it up, that may be a better option. All the water drains to the back of my yard and I have a ton of trees. I trimmed them up pretty good last year so we will see how much that helps

Lol whats the point of eggshells? Diatomaceous earth doesnt do anything useful when its wet.

You mentioned using other nocks previous to these yet you seem as if these are the first time you've ever used one? Don't really care about the weather and insect reports.
