It's a shame how much the NFL despises the falcons. Yes we aren't the best team in the league at any stretch. But London and Allgeier both set rookie franchise records for our team. The fact that they wouldn't show any of their highlights at all is a disgrace 😔

He also has a higher percentage of passes defended over Sauce. Sauce defends 20% of his passes and got an interception on an average of 43 passes thrown his way. Woolen defended 25% of the passes thrown his way and averaged ONE interception per every 10 passes thrown his way!!! It's truly not even close.

Lots of good performances from rookies this year. I'm also so glad that my boy Brisker is getting attention even on a bad Bears squad. That dude is going to be a problem in the league.

George Pickens is just absolutely insane, had so many "Top Catches Of The Week" last season. And those Catches were insane themselves. Not sure how or why you showed all of his best Catches, and left out the best one that was talked about everywhere lol

@@davari9032 Sauce was a lockdown corner. You don’t see much highlights from a lockdown corner compared to an Edge Rusher. Also yes Sauce won it cause they saw what he did was special. Considering playing CB is a much harder position to play then DE

@@skippyy858 drake london is literally 3rd In receiving yards amongst rookies and thats crazy considering they are a run heavy team. Tyler Allgeier is literally 3rd in rookie rushing yards and should be 2nd becuz its technically Etienne 2nd year in the nfl but you dont know what your talking about

Woolen had more interceptions and Defended 25% of the passes thrown his way, Woolen literally did more while being targeted 20 fewer times, Sauce only defended 20% of the passes thrown towards him and not to mention how there literally isn't a single play of Sauce Gardener in coverage where he isn't hanging all over the receiver committing blatant pass interference and NEVER getting called. LMAO I have no idea why but even the NFL officials are blind to how overrated that kid is. I only watched about 5 Jets games this season, but I watched all the highlights, there isn't a single pass play where he isn't interfering with the receiver in some capacity. The dude is a bum and NEEDS to be called for these penalties.

@@lilsavdabest I mean, you're clearly just hating on sauce. He literally was the highest rated CB this year. PFF rating of 88. THEE highest rating of all CB's with at least 80% snaps. Allowed less than 2 catches and less than 20 yards a game, didn't give up a TD.

Gardener plays in a zone defense a majority of the time and if you don't understand how that affects the catches allowed stat than you have no business talking football. I have literally covered this sport on college television.

Based on this video, it would seem that Aiden Hutchinson is a lock for DROY. Admittedly I am a bit biased since I am a 9ers Faithful but, Brock Purdy should be OROY. My only question is do NFL rules allow a rookie who played a key role in only 6 games to qualify?

Read deeper into the statistics. Sauce Gardener has passes defended on 20% of the passes thrown his way and 2.33% interceptions... Woolen had passes defended on 25% of the passes thrown his way and got interceptions on 10% of the passes thrown his way. Woolen overall defended at a 35% rate and Sauce defended at a 22% rate. Numbers don't lie, Tariq was literally better than Sauce in every aspect.

I swear if Sauce gets defensive rookie of the years over Hutch, the NFL is a popularity contest. Hutch literally had more interceptions than sauce and had 2 sacks more than Chase Young when he got rookie of the year. Yes Sauce is good but Hutch was incredible.
