Its not about the numbers, but the sellers that made the platform. Its ironic that a personalization platform is very impersonal.

Etsy is so stupid. Why not send 2 or 3 warning emails like "Hey you have a $7 on this account. Please pay it before you risk the suspension of all of your shops."? How do you just go straight to suspension of a top seller due to some automated bullcrap. Etsy will be the equivalent of Myspace soon when another competitor will come in and treat their shop owners right.

I have purchased a few things recently and noticed in my package people have been sending a card with their own website and it says if we need more items of if at any point if we can't find them on Etsy to find them on that website instead. Maybe you should do that. Sorry this sucks for you all this stress.

Etsy sucks. No human interaction as far as support. Very frustrating, stressful & time consuming. Go with another platform. Sellers can’t afford this happening to them.

I'm glad that things are (hopefully) starting to look better. I just wanted to thank you for all the content you provide. My wife started an Etsy business as a hobby back in 2021 and now we both work on it full time, with over 9,400 sales, 2500 5-star reviews, and 200k in gross rev. I mention this because, at the start of her business, I watched your UpFlip tagpug video multiple times, which (can say without a doubt) gave me the information & mentality to scale our business and deliver excellent customer service. I'm so sorry you're going through such a tough time! We've been through some of the toughest times in our lives when my husband lost his job, my dogs have been having surgeries back to back and my mother in law got diagnosed with cancer. In the midst of all these chaos, I still having to work like crazy on Etsy during the holiday so I feel your pain more than anyone! I've been selling on Etsy for the past 2 years and have a business that's semi-successful and I'm in the process of building a completely new one hoping to replicate the success and although I've never experienced getting suspended, I do have many frustrating experiences with Etsy customer service and how "fakely nice" and useless they are. To wake up one day and find that all your shops have been closed is just bizarre. I hope things will get better for your business, your pup and your mother-in-law soon! This is such a good wake up call to all the Etsy sellers out there to start diversifying their business out of Etsy!

You might be able to take legal action against Etsy for all your potential lost sales and damages for wrongful doing. Maybe it would shake them to be more careful of automatic suspension and have a person validate and talk with the store first. These are small businesses, which doesn't mean it's okay to treat them without consideration.

It's hard to put so much effort into Etsy knowing at any moment your shop could be gone just like that. This is why Etsy should be just as a stepping stone. Make money from it, then, you create your shop own and sell it there. Or, you create a brand teaching people how to make money on Etsy. Never put all your eggs in one basket

Dude, a lot of people said to you that you should move your stuffs to another platform and you keep struggling with Etsy. Having a self-made brand, how can it be you haven't built your own website yet? You were suspended three times. At this time, it's not Etsy fault.

I keep hearing more and more stories like yours. That's the main reason why I've been holding back from selling on Etsy... I'm staying away from Etsy as a seller.

Not having logic in their pragramming to flag an account suspension for a top seller is a MAJOR flaw.
