you're so right about skin becoming dry!! i was always an oily greaseball. one bad winter around age 26 or so, it's like my skin went dry and never bounced back, now I have eternal dry skin and have had to find a whole new routine UGH. thanks for the video !! i also really like the aveeno eczema lotion with colloidal oatmeal when i'm feeling super dry or irritated and i wake up with smoother skin

Yeah skincare is so tricky! Even if I have dry skin I sometimes get acne and excess oil😅 I prefer light makeup anyway, so I apply a thin layer of serum or moisturizer on top of it few times throughout the day to keep my skin hydrated. If you don’t overload your skin with too much product (multiple layers of serums and sunscreens together, etc.) it might ruin the makeup but just a little bit should be fine and you can always touch it up with a cushion💓

Is there a cleanser from beauty of joseon you recommend for dry skin?

I've only used their cleansing balm which is mild & lightweight. Not sure if it's necessarily effective for dry skin, but I can make a video about cleansers in the future if you're interested!

Vasoline is made from a petrolium ( Oil ) derivative ... and has other ingredients that could make the dry skin situation worse

Yeah it's controversial for sure. Some dermatologists support it and others are skeptical about its effect. I think everyone should try and see if it works for their own skin!

Hi. Can you do a video on eating the right nutrition to improve skin since that’s the actual foundation of skincare and highly underrated, I feel like there’s no use in investing in all sorts of skincare products without actually following a good nutritious diet.
