The Jordan 5's and 6's really stood out to me. Not only because I have both of these sneakers, but Jordan also scored 69 points in a playoff game while wearing the 5's, and winning his first chip while wearing the 6's.

The 1996 NBA Finals were never tied 2-2. The Bulls went up 3-0, Seattle won games 4 and 5 at home and the Bulls clinched in 6.

That was the best MJ iconic sneaker video I have seen yet….. I live MJ… thank you for that. I knew all of those facts, but the way you delivered them was very entertaining.

The white Grape 5s were the first Jordan kicks I ever saw in a retailer. It was 1991 and I was 13 years old and sadly could not ask my folks to pay for them, they were more expensive than Nike Airs but my buddy bought them and some stonewash jeans with money from his elder brother, the most crispy fit I had ever layed eyes on. I settled for Huarache's. The next pair I saw in a sport shop were the Bordeaux 7s and something about that colourway was unforgetable but still had to settle for some white Nike Air hightops with a blue metalic swoosh and those monster Sir Charles claws around the toe box. I have a vague memory of those 7s being unavailible by the time I could afford them and knowing I had missed the boat. I never saw the games Jordan played, british TV was more about soccer in those days.

If I could only pick one (since, let's face it, none are exactly cheap, unfortunately) then I'd have a hard time deciding whether it should be 11 or 13. Silhouette-13 I think is the most beautiful, plus looks very durable with that massive leather. But 11 is so unique with that glossy "lacquer" layer. And if 11 is then bred or Space Jam colorway?
