Controlling our tongue is one of the hardest things to do! We have the power to speak life or create death around us through our words. When we feel hurt, pain, anger, and unrest well up in our bodies it’s important that we pause to give space for us to process these feelings before letting words come out of our mouths. Learn to calm your body, mind, and you can better control your tongue.

A man told reporter during interview last week before Ian hit that he wasn't going to scelter because he had 2 cats & 2 dogs & thought he couldn't get in with his pets. Did he survive the hurricane?

They have to go to a facility to file a claim and recieve resources. They will have to leave their homes, right now they are still searching for people. Although, now due to time passed now will be more of recovery efforts. 🙏

Perhaps coincidental, perhaps not, film and television crews already had a minimum 10 hour rest period between shoots, as flight attendants just won. But think about it. You have ten hours to go home, bathe, sleep, and get back to work. Film and television cast and crews also get catered, fresh buffet meals, or even made to order anything you want--as a rule--every six hours with extra money paid to them if even seconds late, increasing every fifteen minutes. Breakfast can be as little as fifteen minutes, but other meals are an hour. Sure, sometimes those meals can be very low budget, but usually they're fantastic. They should go for that deal as well, shadowing the film and television union terms and conditions.

I am so tired of seeing this station fueling race issues with their “headlines” just to get views. First thing that comes up “Race inequality in Ian aftermath” but then you see each race with absolutely NO help. I’m not saying inequality doesn’t exist, but why throw constant fuel on a terrible fire with circumstantial and sometimes false portrayals and information. Sickening.
