I found this super helpful! I’ve used google keep for about a year, but I use it mostly to write reminders. Since I’m a teaching assistant for two teachers, I usually insert a screenshot of my timetable so I know what room I need to be in. I will also start using the checklists as you suggest. Thank you!

I just discovered Google Keep and I LOVE it. This is for sure going to be a game changer. I used it for food shopping this week and love that I can keep the basics from week to week and just add to it as needed. The possibilities are endless when it comes to using this in the school setting as well! Thanks for this video!

I have been watching all your videos obsessively lately. I am a a beginning student teacher and I was a para for 9 years prior. Even though I have been in the classroom for all these years, and even love being the tech gal for all my coworkers, I haven’t ever touched Google Drive apps. I am so thankful I watched your channel and I’m proud of all the things I’ve learned now that will help me be more organized and productive. I’ve even started making pretend lesson slides just for fun because it’s actually fun and relaxing!

I love using Google Keep for all of my lists (makes it harder to lose those lists). You can also share those notes with others. If you are working with a partner or team on a project, you can make a checklist to share and see quickly what still needs to get done.

I love google keep!! I have about 8 going at one time. It’s so great for grocery checklists too. If I write my grocery list, I will inevitably leave it at home. So google keep is a life saver. Also, I wanted to let you know (in the spirit of saving time) that when you go to create a new checklist, you can just click on the square with a check mark and that will start a new checklist. That way you can avoid the step of clicking “more” and so on. Thank you for sharing!! 🙂

This tip has completely kept me going this school as a first year teacher. I’m part of the 40 Hour Teacher Work Week club and one of the most important parts is using lists to prioritize tasks. Using checklists and task lists has kept me from getting overwhelmed and forgetting important tasks this year!

I LOVE the Keep app!! Seriously, I have so much in there. My child's favorite meals from various restaurants because I can never remember. Directions from doctor/dentist on how to take medicine or treatment plan suggestions. Gift ideas. General to dos for home/life. I'll date them and then archive. Sometimes I'll type there before sending a big message so I don't mess it up and hit send too soon. 😅😅 All kinds of lists. 😬😬

I was watching another video of yours and clicked to see this one to see how to use Google Keep, which I have heard of, but have never used. This looks fabulous and I will definitely be using it to organized my thinking. I usually have post-its with lists laying all over my desk. Hopefully I can save some trees now. :) I love your vlogs! I just started using Keep at my job because we are not allowed to have overtime. Working with different radiologists, I keep a general checklist for myself before clinic starts (when I arrive) and after clinic ends (before I leave). I am starting to develop checklists for each radiologist because each one is different. I feel like a more organized person because of you!!

Hi Michelle, I have been watching you videos for several years and have really appreciated all of your tips/tricks/authenticity towards teaching. As an educator, it's great to be able to learn different ways to reach all our students, and your videos have definitely helped that! Was curious why some of your earlier videos have been taken down? They are always an encouragement to me to not give up in the midst of difficulty, noticed some of them aren't there anymore?

I've been using Google Keep for everything I need from reminders to grocery lists. It's a wonderful and simple tool. Also, they have an app for your computer so you don't always have to use it in your browser!

I love Google Keep. In addition to making lists, I like to take pics of things that I need to work on so when I open the app the image is right there as a reminder.

I also like Google Tasks. Great for checklists. You can evey break checklists down into sublists. It's also on the Google Drive sidebar.

My husband and I use Google Keep to track groceries, to do lists, house tasks. We can both edit the lists at any time and it syncs with the other person instantly.

I love Google Keep! I keep that up as well as my Google Calendar in my Gmail. Thanks to you, I will keep Keep on my Drive and Calendar in Gmail. Whoop!
