Top Ten Boxers in Fighting Games

This video covers another popular and recognizable archetype in fighting games: the Boxer. It’s generally one of the most identifiable fighting styles in fighting games due to the stance the characters use and the fact that these characters use almost exclusively their fists for all attacks, even the kicks. It also helps when they wear their boxing gloves to the match, but that’s not a requirement for this list. These characters just have to be interesting with their history and fighting style in their respective games.

Thanks! Even though I'm not as experienced with SNK fighters as I am with other games, I really like a lot of the characters from the SNK fighting game library. Since I was familiar with Vanessa before I learned about all the Fatal Fury games, I have a fondness for her over the other SNK boxers, but Strowd is a unique character that deserved some recognition.

Definitely would've put Steve Fox above Balrog, personally. Balrog's great, as any boxer based off "Iron" Mike Tyson should be, but Steve Fox _is_ boxing, he's like a walking homage to all the different styles and methods out there, and there's such an honesty to his style amongst all the ridiculous nonsense Tekken presents, from androids to demon eye lasers, that deserves recognition.

Great idea Bobby Serrano! I could see so many fighting game magic users in my eyes. There's Zelda and Robin in Super Smash Bros, Platinum the Trinity and the Phantom Nine in Blazblue, Yasuzumi Yoriko and Dorothy Albright in Arcana Heart and even any character in any Touhou fighting game. Plus if want to know any of these games, do some research on them. Ok?

Hello Everyone I'm Prime Zero L from looking at this video I would say when this guy worked on this Top 10 List on Boxers he completely forgot about Heavy D from King of Fighters Series on the American Team and he is my favorite Fighting Game Character who is a Hardcore Heavyweight Boxer who fights without the need of the Boxing Gloves and I give Heavy D points for being the best along with Brian Battler and Lucky Glauber these trio are okay in my book and not to mention Brian Battler the best at Wrestling + Football Skills and Lucky Glauber is also the best at Basketball Skill + Black Belt Karate Skills but one King of Fighters Character I also like her name is Vanessa she is also a Hardcore Heavyweight Boxer who fights dirty sometimes and who Kick's sometimes only when she needs to and I give her two thumbs way up for all that and some of you Fans & People would have to at least agree with me on that one.!? ♤♡♧◇🏈🥋🏀🥊

You didn't mention Yugo from Bloody Roar. He's got a few kicks, but most of his input commands that involve the kick button are for bobbing and weaving. Also, he's a warewolf
