Black Ops (2010) was and still is the best campaign. So captivating and mysterious story, great actors and unique setting in the pinnacle of The Cold War.

Best mission in call of duty history was escaping Vorkuta (prison camp from bo1). Genuinely gives you chills as Reznov screams the different stages to freedom

Infinite warfare campaign is one of best sci-fi shooter story I’ve seen to date. It’s not too overall futuristic but it the atmosphere and story makes it highly engaging!

Glad I'm not the only person who loved it. Forget it's a call of duty and it's a great sci fi action game with stellar sequences and quite an open feel with all the side missions. Just really memorable to me and actually really loved the space combat compared to other vehicle sections in games

Infinite Warfare is such a underrated game in the franchise. Sure it's multiplayer was a mess, but Infinite Warfare has one of the best campaigns in the entire franchise. Definitely a top 3 campaign for me.

The majority of people who play call of duty and buy it every year never touch the campaign at all. And it's always been like this, it's something like 30% of the total player base even plays campaign, let alone finishes it. Of course making money is part of it but people by and large do not care about single player cod and the stats show it.

Black ops (2010) was my favorite campaign. Great missions, story telling & yes the big twist that comes in the 2nd to last mission & post credits.

Infinite Warfare's campaign is one of the best CoD campaigns, IMO. It's basically "The Expanse" meets "Battlestar Galactica" and is probably how future space colonization is going to play out, unfortunately. As whack as Black Ops III's story is, the fact you can play it all the way through in Co-Op is a big plus. It also has an entirely separate Zombies campaign mode you can play through with friend, too. There's ton of value to be had despite the underwhelming narrative.

From CoD4 to BO2, they pretty much occupy the top six spots (in your own personal order). MW19 and BOCW takee seven and eight in no particular order. The last two spots is pretty much anyone's guess.

Glad to see Infinite Warfare’s campaign on the list. Seriously, that is one heck of an overhated game. Heck, I’d include it in my top ten favorite games in the series, no joke.

Top 4 imo are Black Ops, MW2, World at War, and COD 4 MW. 2007 -2010 was when Call of Duty was at its BEST!!!

Call of duty modern warfare games you have to play them in order. Black ops campaign also has to be played in order. The rest play them in any sequence you want. These two campaigns are peak fiction, hope you enjoy

World at War showed us the horrors of war and actual footage from WWII. The Russian story was beautifully written , and the American story was fun to play. World at War doesn’t make war seem cool and it shows us how deadly the conflict was. And yet, cod WW2 is better than it? are you smoking rocks?

Black Ops being the top game makes sense to me. It's a terrific game and executed very well. But Call of Duty 2 instead of World at War? Call of Duty WW2 instead of Modern Warfare 3? I should make my own list.

Cod Advanced warfare was by far the BEST campaign ever in my opinion, with one of the biggest plot twists ever, it has the best campaign, not for just gameplay but for the story
