It's also in 2019 when I found out about cardistry and felt almost immediately passionate about it. The video proves again there's an endless number of possibilities of deck designs and that creativity isn't missing in this community. I actually started watching your videos and collecting playing cards at the end of 2019. My first deck purchase was the blue wheels deck. Now I have 16 decks and it’s growing fast. My favorite deck is the little deck of horrors. It was a free deck with one of my orders but once I had them I loved them. I watched your video after I ordered and loved the humor your wife brought to the channel. My wife calls this deck the boo deck lol Thank you for showing me so many classy decks!

One designer who you introduced to me that I absolutely LOVE is Lotrek. I love his artwork and designs, which are so creative. His decks are truly works of art, and they have given me lots of inspiration when it comes to designing a deck myself. In fact, the Chronos deck is one of my favorite decks I have seen in a very long time.

Its only been a week since I came to know about your channel. In fact, I never knew that there are so many premium playing card decks as well as artists/designers/magicians who put in so much of effort in making them. Since then I have binge watched a lot of your reviews. It's hard to choose one but the provision looks very attractive to me. And I must say, designer Giovanni Maroni's art skill is over 9000. Before I started watching your channel, I thought the pinnacle of luxury cards was theory11. But now I've realized how much more you can do with tuck cards and playing cards and just how beautiful they can really be. Lotrek and Kings wild projects are probably the 2 more influential designers you're introduced me too, I love how much detail and new technology they incorporate into their decks while maintaining a high standard of handling in most cases

My favorite deck and artist from this year has to be Adrian Valenzuela's Fox deck. The Planer Facet study of an animal's face is brilliant and stunning in every way for me. So much so, that when the first deck (Watcher which depicts an owl) came out, I grabbed a half brick. My wife knows how much I love that style of art.. she contacted Riffle Shuffle and for my birthday, somehow got me an uncut sheet of them! Fox came out and we were real tight with money, but somewhere she crimped and saved getting me the half brick box. The half brick is totally just a beautiful package in itself. I can't wait to see what comes next from Adrian!

Also, before just a few weeks ago, David Blaine's new Rose Gold iteration of the Gatorbacks was my all around favorite deck I owned, however that was before I received my black and gold version Parlour playing cards. I just got introduced to your channel over the last few months and you have become my go to channel for deck reviews, but you have also designed my new FAVORITE deck of all time!! I can't tell you how much I absolutely love this deck man. Everything about it is just spot on and pure perfection. The Kings Wild crayon inspired deck was absolutely new to me. It was playful, unique, and an unexpected design.

I just started collecting decks partialy because of this channel. I recognise every one of these decks from the vids. For visual only i would have picked the morrocan inspired deck. The coolest deck ive seen. But my fav of all time and should have been first is royal mischief. I have never seen so much work go into a deck. Every card more beautiful than the rest. And how creative they were in the way to hide the pips within the picture. That deck is on my bucket list. One i will probably never see in real life. But because of this channel, i know what they look like. Thank you for sharing that with us

You introduced me to the Ascension by Steve Minty! I am really blown away by the design of the tuck case on the signature edition! Even my friends were blown away by the stunning tuck cases, as well as the custom designs of all the cards when I told them about it!

While this specific video didn't introduce me to any designer or deck I hadn't heard of (in fact, I own each one of these decks), there have been previous TGW videos that *have* introduced me to decks or designers I didn't previously know (such as the Dead Man's Deck). Seems to me that 2018 and 2019 were the two best years of new custom playing card decks *ever*, and 2020 is shaping up to be just as fantastic.

I have to say, I haven't been introduced to any designers I hadn't heard of, but it has raised my opinions of some of them. The tucks for the Ascension decks are amazing, and that foiling for the Monolith! WOW. Giovanni has always been one of the best designers in my opinion, up there with Jackson, Lotrek and S17, but those Monolith have to be one of the most impressive works of art i've seen! Great video!

Lotrek is easily in my top three favorite playing card artists, although surprisingly enough I haven't seen The Entertainer before. I'll definitely have to shop around and see if I can pick one of those up. Thirdway Industries being another favorite, easily catching my eye the first time I saw a set of the decks. The unique court card designs truly cause the decks to stand out to me apart from the rest. Really neat to see the Monoliths featured in the video alongside the Lotrek ones. Not to mention the NPCCD 2019 decks which I was introduced to from your video featuring them. Never seen that concept before for the case or the cards. I'm very impressed that someone was able to think of such an idea.

I just stumbled into card collecting in the past few months so its safe to say basically all these were new to me. One thing I can say for certain is i need more foil in my life! I particularly like the style of the Dunovo cards and ive never heard of them either.
