Dust: An Elysian Tail is… a very special game to me. I bought it out of curiosity a few years back and *instantly* fell in love with the title character. The design, the colors, the amazing performance from Lucien Dodge, it was one of those times where the moment he started talking, I knew he was special. I got so attached and invested in his story, that it made the themes of changing and self-acceptance hit even harder. So when I watched this video and heard that familiar voice come up, I couldn’t help but cry, man. You described every feeling I have for this wonderful game perfectly. Thank you ❤

#1, specifically the ideas you presented during it, are causing a mix of feelings i am struggling to put into words. I'm not even sure if I think it's a good or bad feeling. Your way with words is something I aspire to, Minion. Poetic, elegant in a way that wrenches emotions out from the depths of the soul so effortlessly. I'm left speechless every single time.

I was always wondering how does Big Daddy qualify as a cyborg as well as a mutant. Sure, I knew there had to be some mechanical adjustments done to get the functional drill, but OH GOD how horrifying does these hulking bodyguards look underneath those diving suits. And whenever killing these things other than Delta, it's actually a mercy kill to put them out of their agony, even if their attatchment to Little Sisters is genuine enough to even tolerate their existence as mutants. Dammit, why is this so complicated?!

One of my favorite mutants I absolutely love are the rockpox infestations from DRG. The way that the rockpox larvae comimg from the lithophage meteorite seeking hosts on to the wildlife on Hoxxes IV infecting and turning them into zombies. This would have been an honorable mention.

21:15 fun fact: just to add on the mutation factor in the Pokémon manga mewtwo has human DNA. In the pokespe RGB arc Blaine (who at the time was working under Giovanni in the mewtwo creation project) didn’t think they had enough generic material to create mewtwo so used some of his own. The procedure didn’t work out perfectly and for a number of years mewtwo and Blaine had to stay close to one another to stay alive due to the physical tumors they developed until the GS saga where entei was able to cure the two by literally burning away the growth Blaine had tethering mewtwo to him. Their latest appearance comes in the XY arc where we see an older Blaine and mewtwo living together as equals protecting the Pokémon village in kalos where they are able to utilize both of mewtwo’s mega stones (which I like to believe that one represents mewtwos connection to mew while the other represents his connection to Blaine)

Sen-mithrarin reigns supreme! Honestly, that one really caught me off-guard! Dust, an Elysian Tail is one of my favourite games of all time! The exact philosophy this game brings to you, is one of the most fascinating topics I have ever heard of! Coupled with the absolutely IMMACULATE story, which doesn't seem to have been replicated since, and utterly mind-grabbing gameplay, it really just combines into a delightfully haunting experience!

Hell, I'm still feeling it as I write this! And the slightly scary part, for me, is...I don't think anyone else could pull it off like you did. It's not just sadness, but horror as well. It's not just what you were covering, but _how_ you were covering it. You went all-in on the FEELING of it all in addition to the raw plot points, putting your own brand of commentary on it. Nice video as usual. I knew Mewtwo would make this top ten. After all, Mewtwo is created by Team Rocket for the sole purpose of battling and that's why its got a heartless additude.

I am not disappointed to see Mewtwo and Chaos as high up on the list as they were. You shouldn't get to be a famous example of something without actually being good at what you do. And that's exactly the case with these two villains.

Not sure if this counts, but Alex Mercer from Prototype was always a neat interpretation of both both mutations and the superhero origin story. Love how his super edgy character design is just a front for how genuinely badass and horrific his true powers actually are, and you kinda feel bad since his seems to lack that sense empathy and compassion that makes us human despite how perfectly he talks and looks like one.
