Hi guys! In this video I'm sharing with you my top 21 cool and unique things to buy at Japanese Walmart! It's called Seiyu and they carry the best stuff. I bet you can't find any of this in your wal-mart! The one I went to is a 5 story building - on the first floor, there's groceries, on the second floor there's cosmetics/housewares, third floor clothing, fourth floor toys and more household items, and fifth floor restaurants, arcades, and gachas! I used to hang out here all the time when I lived in Japan, and I'm giving you guys a peek inside! If you're looking for this Seiyu, it's located at Fussa Station. What do you always buy when you go to Wal-Mart or Target (if your'e a target person)?

Hi Marie Are Wal-Mart is called Asda, I love Asda I get my grocery shopping there, clothes, underwear, cds, videos, and toys. Here they do a Christmas savings card's you put money on it every week and if you save up a certain amount of money they give you free money to top it up at the end in November ready for Christmas so if I can get £280 on the card they will give me £15 free. Would love to shop here; seems quite fun and much more selective than Walmart. Where I live, we have a Walmart, and the closest Target is about 45 minutes away (though they expanded the store quite a bit recently). I would always be trying the various foods there, since I love to find new Asian foods to try. Keep up the fun, Marie. Hope you find a cool store like this in Korea. God bless yours and you! :)

I order the freeze dried miso soup (Anamo? brand) from Japan through Amazon. It is restaurant quality.

I loved Seiyu back in 1982. Great shopping and even had an arcade on the top floor.

I remember when I lived in Maryland there was this little Japanese shop on top of Temari (a sushi restaurant) and it was next to like, an electronics store, but I'm getting off topic. Anyways, the little shop had a large selection of Japanese snacks like arare crackers wrapped in nori, shrimp chips, and then they would have a big bowl of those little cups of jelly, and when you checked out, they would give you one, and now I'm craving all of this.

The fruit is so true! My neighbor gave us some homegrown bananas and my son said that they tasted more bananaeee. The ones you get at the store taste waxy. I haven't been to Japan since I was a child and want to go back just to eat and go to onsen.

Hahah! We went there specifically to eat... sushi, shabu shabu, etc. the quality is unparalleled on just about everything. Right down to the rice... the rice is just perfect! You wouldn’t think rice could be different and perfect, but in Japan it is.

I liked Mooneys the best, but on a regular basis I ended up buying the cheapest ones, either the store brand or the Mamy Poko just because of the price and they are not that far off from the other brands in quality.

Oh my... what do you mean those kits aren't that good they are the best! Since im not in japan And omg cheeza crackers! I love them sooo much found them in daiso and found in Hmart some and some other cute snacks omg in California but I miss being in there because im in georgia now but im gonna move again somewhere omg idk when and where yet but oh my god stuff is soo good in japan I want to live there and if the fruits are so good... I NEED to go to japan for the fruits and once I try them oh my god and i love San-X Characters my mom loves cute stuff and i do I just REALLLLLYYYY NEED to go there like omg so cute so good everything is the best at japan like omg

Just to be clear, is this really an actual Wal-Mart in Japan but they renamed it Seiyu? Or are you just comparing it to Walmart?

If you google Walmart and seiyu, you’ll find a Walmart website introducing seiyu as Walmart in Japan. It purchased like 6% of seiyu in early 2000 and took over the whole thing in 2005.

Team target! I love this video, however, I wish you could move the camera a bit slower and focus a little on the price, especially on toys. I’d like to see the price comparison between here and Donqi.

Ahh sorry about that. As for price, SEIYU is usually cheaper for most things! Donki has a better variety though especially on cosmetics/beauty and snacks like candy kits.

Walmart operates the Japanese supermarket chain Seiyu. Walmart acquired a 6.1% stake in Seiyu. Making Seiyu a Walmart subsidiary.
