Come explore Waimea Canyon in Kauai with me!
It is hands down one of the most gorgeous and peaceful place I ever visited. Waimea Canyon adventure is one of the top things to do Kauai!!!
I will write down some stops below to help you enjoy your trip to Waimea Canyon!
Stops to make:
* Drive from Lihue (Airport) to Waimea town center and grab some food to go.
- The Booze Shop - Their burgers and fries were amazing! I also ordered Kekahott Chicken which was also great. Order whatever you like they seemed to be a great place for everything! *Make sure to order online ahead! If not the wait is long.*

* Waimea Canyon Lookout
* Pu'u Hinahina Lookout
They are so many more stops you can make as you go! I wish I had more time because there were so many trails! You gotta at least hike one.
Here's one trail I wanted to hike:
* Waimea Canyon Trail Trailhead - The trail starts at the parking lot and you’ll travel about ¾ of a mile through lush jungle to a spot called Cliff Viewpoint. This trail is moderately challenging so be prepared.
Approximate time: 1+ hour
The trail starts at the parking lot and you’ll travel about ¾ of a mile through lush jungle to a spot called Cliff Viewpoint. This trail is moderately challenging so be prepared. From Cliff Viewpoint, you can turn around and return the way you came or, if you’re feeling adventurous, return to the trail and keep walking along a short, ⅓ mile detour to a river and the top of Waipo’o Waterfall. If you choose to continue walking to the waterfall, just turn around the way you came to get back to the parking lot.
Note: Some of the trees and bushes are overgrown on this trail. In addition, if it’s been raining this trail gets extremely muddy. Highly recommend wearing hiking boots.
* Kalalau Lookout - you can see the Na Pali views from here when it's not too foggy!
Note: Parking at Waimea Canyon is $10 per vehicle and each non-resident visitors must pay a $5 entrance fee per person. You must pay for BOTH parking and entrance.
