SB19 is the pioneer of PPOP. Thanks to SB19 for paving the way for PPOP in the international scene. They just won the Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Award Fav Asian Act yesterday.

They did it again! This is a one hell of a performance by SB19! The new arrangement of Mapa just made goosebumps a permanent feeling during this performance 'cause this showcased their beautiful raw vocals. As you can see, they sang it with so much happiness and gusto because this is a tribute to their parents and to all the people who unconditionally support them in their SB19 journey. They never fail to amazed us and leave us speechless and wanting more. They always level up their performance so expect the unexpected from these guys. The original version was sang by them with so much longing and gratefulness to their parents especially that time that their careers were picking up and they hardly spend time with them.. While on the first take version, they sang it with happiness and gusto - the feeling of they finally made it and inspite of the crazy busy schedule, they still get to spend quality time with their parents. Salamat for such a wonderful review and for always supporting and believing in SB19.

This version is reassuring and comforting. Amazing how the same song can have different feels to it, SB19 definitely know what they're doing. Agree that this can be one of those classic songs that people can look back and still hit you hard. One of the things I love about SB19 is they choose to stick to their core values, they create songs that relate to their journey, story and identity even if it means going against the trend or hype. It made their songs more personal, special and their own. The lyricism as well is top tier! They don't just throw shallow words into their lyrics, you can tell it's well thought of. It pierces through your heart and soul.

I get what you want to say. This is more like an ode to the parents. The way Justin started the song and how he said "Pangamba", that was perfect. I also love Josh delivery during his verse. Knowing hs grew up with a single mom, he nailed the message of that part. And Ken? I wish his part after the bridge was longer but it was impactful! Of course, Stell and Pablo always give their 100%.

MAPA is the perfect song choice! A fitting tribute to their parents! And it coincides with MAPA MV hitting 100M views. The arrangement was different from the original. This is less emotional, they are more happier and celebratory! The harmonies are on point. Their distinct vocals when layered perfectly sounded really awesome, their voices complements each other! I think the reason for the change in the mood is the time they sang or wrote the song. When MAPA was first released, they were missing their parents as they were on tour, at that time they were starting out so it was a very emotional and stressful time for them. We were all crying when we heard this song. We know the hardships, struggles, and everything our boys went through that's why we hold them very dear in our hearts. Now they are an established group, with their own solo careers, self-managed, and a solid fan base - we can confidently say they have achieved their initial goals and aspirations; hence the tone is, shall I say bittersweet? There's still sadness as they are still on their journey, but there's also a celebratory tone since they can finally fully embody the song - they are now the anchors letting their parents have the break they deserve. I have been listening to this version for the nth time already it's so good. the original is good but it gives a sad vibes and everytime I heard the original I don't only cry I feel regret and complicated emotions because for me my mapa was my grandmother who passed away few years ago. but this one is uplifting and joyful gives you hope 🥹🤗

i think everything was banking on how Justin would start the song. quite difficult since there is no music to guide him.
