TOP TIPS for finding WILDLIFE to photograph!

The search for wildlife to film and photograph never ends!
As we all know, finding wildlife to photograph can be tricky. Depending on the species you could spend all day trekking over a mountain, getting lost walking in circles in a woodland or getting bitten to pieces crawling through boggy undergrowth all to come away empty handed.
And whilst I am not going to pretend like there is a magic fix to all this, in my years embracing the inner nerd and searching for wildlife I have found a few things that helped and hopefully they can help you too.

Tip offs and Twitter sightings are my main source of new wildlife sites ! Repeat visits to known areas at different times of year is another recommendation ! Looking forward to part 2

Glad to see you back, Matt, and that you haven’t dulled your skills in making compelling content.👍 Looks like dog had a fun time, too. Reasonable advice, especially about promising habitat characteristics (worthy of bulletted text, IMO). Expected some mention of helpful apps to get folks started. What would you recommend? Still teasing viewers about future vids - nice. Night hunter, echo-location hints at an owl-like raptor. Taking along a high-calorie snack should be one of your bullet points😁. Cheers!

Bird sounds like a Raven call, but not it’s normal call, but sounds a lot like a corvid. It’s definitely not Turtle Dove unfortunately but still sounds good for Raven!

Gutted you didn’t find the bird, when I heard your friend try and do it I thought of a dove for some reason. Suppose it’s a mystery until next time :)
