Definitely helpful. I have considered checking houses but I have no idea which school would give me admission yet lol. Anyways thanks for the video. Secondly I asked for where you get your clothes and fashion items on Instagram I’m not sure if you replied I’m just curious I want to know if I should get them from here 😆 seriously I’m so big on dressing nice like you and you inspire me. Lastly you’re yet to speak about your visa interview experience, it’s just going to be really helpful because I prefer your own information cos it’s unbiased and neutral. I didn't buy many clothes from Nigeria before moving here honestly, most of the clothing I wear were bought here. No i haven't forgotten about the Visa video, I believe people will find it more relevant in June since that's when they would be going for the interviews so I am saving it till sometime in June. It is always great watching you. Your videos are very insightful... Can you throw more on the apartment stuff. Supposing you get a 3 room apartment like your place and the rent is 800 dollars... Will the 3 people share the 800 and pay or one will still pay 800??

Hi Nana, thanks for asking. If the monthly rent for a 3bed is $800, then the housemates would spilt that amount equally or however way they choose based on how the apartment is set up.

Hi Gracie, thanks for this video. I'm headed to Illinois State University and I need guidance on how to search for cheap, safe and on bus route/line to my school. Again, I have a toddler so school safety and all is my concern. I don't even know where to start from. Pls help me oooo. I'm viewing from Nigeria sis. Well-done.

Hi Stella, congratulations on your admission to Illinois State University! Have you tried using any of the apartment search websites i mentioned in the video? Please try them you should find good options. Also, have you tried contacting current students for guidance, they would be able to break down possible options for your child's schooling since they are familiar with the area. I hope this helps

Hi Fisayo! Lovely video as usual. I was hoping you'd mention the amount for the security deposit fee. In some parts of Nigeria, its called Caution fee and its usually the equivalent of one month's rent. Is it the same there?

Hi Fey, thanks for asking! Sorry I missed out that information, actually thought i mentioned it. My rent is $1895 per month and the security deposit we paid was $1500. Based on my research, I find that it's typically around the monthly rent amount.

Can you discuss with a contact (professor, advisor, assistant, student ambassador etc) at your school to see if they will be willing to provide you one?
