To my ears these 3rd Gen Air pods are more comfortable compared to the newer Pro version with the soft gel tips. kzfaq.infoUgkxgl8SzyQoymMu-S3V55Dskg5QJ8xr1yCR That said, compared to the 3rd Gen, I notice these do not stay planted in the ear as well. One design issue I think, is you squeeze the stem and click it twice to advance your songs. On 3rd gen you tap the large speaker. The difference is by grabbing the stem each time, you tend to loosen the bud fit in your ear. Not always, but the bud falls out a few times while running. The old tap to change never had that problem for me. I would not have changed that tap function. That said, the newer Pro version sticks in the ear, almost airtight if you want that. I do not like that Airtight fit. So that's why I'd stay with this version as the best trade off of comfort, use, and overall feel.

@@rahulmalhotra3484 I use the Jabra's for calls both inside and outside. I have had problems with people being able to hear me when I am next to a busy road or when I am indoors in a busy, noisy, echoey room. When that happens I switch to handheld, and people are able to hear me again. From experience all headphones have trouble filtering noise when in noisy circumstances.

@@glenjensen4777 Mine stopped working two days ago. I had only been using them since the start of February. The left ear just started to falter. And after a couple of minutes it stopped giving sound at all. It was still connected to the other ear, so it didn't seem to be a connection problem. I've brought them back to the store to be repaired or replaced. For some unexplained reason they won't repair or replace. They are giving me store credit. I guess because I bought them when they were having a sale. So now I'm trying to get them replaced or get my money back. The consumer law in my country says they should repair, replace or give the money back. Even when it was bought during a sale.

+Gamesky I've actually settled for the *MiFo O5.* It's the best *Price per Sound per Value.* aka *PSV.* They were being sold at Amazon for *$75* back in January 2019. And mind you I've tried several of these "true wireless" earbuds since they started coming out about 5 years ago -- from *Soundpeats* to *Jaybirds* to *Axgio* to *Sound-Intones* to the worst and overpriced (at the time) *Rowkin.* So for now, the *MiFo* got me invested -- unless another one comes out there with a better *PSV.* If they can come out with Apple AirPods-like software features & seamless pairing features with the *same reasonable PSV below $100* that'll be *prime rib!* The AirPods to me just looks so damn stupid sticking out and fall out of the ears whilst running or working out at the gym.

@@OfficialGamesky These are interesting earbuds to review. I own the mifo 05 and the Liberty Air. I find myself using the mifos more because of the easy functionality e.g they connect quickly, you can adjust volume easily, answer calls easily etc. The Liberty Air utilizing tap functionality instead of buttons are more finicky to use. You need to adjust the volume from the phone. It lacks feedback ie you tap the bud and simply must wait to see if a command executes. Sometimes you need to tap a few times, driving them into your ears. Very annoying. Starting to sound very poor and that l dont like them. Not so. The sound is very clear and vibrant. They can be surprisingly loud, depending on what you are listening to. Bass is better than the mifo when you compare them. It has about 9 feet more range than the mifo. Importantly, they are also more stable than the mifos, being less likely to drop out. Its worthwhile having both where under different circumstances you can take advantage of the strengths of each. The best analogy l can provide for the Liberty Air is that of some of the old cars, basic, but reliable and they work well. I view the Liberty Air as a basic earbud upon which Anker has a solid foundation where it can easily improve.

AirPods 2 and Galaxy Buds are the best overall. The AirPods 2 have great mics for calls, tiny case, great battery life, and no latency for video content. Galaxy Buds have great battery life, no video latency, they look good, sealed for good sound, and affordable. I own wireless earbuds from Jabra, JBL, and Sony...they all suffered the dreaded left ear connection issue or latency issues or both. AirPods 2 and Galaxy Buds don't sound the best but they give the best overall user experience with the fewest issues and they both have a tiny case that fit in your jeans coin pocket.

Hoping to get sound details but still have the bass punch, wide sound stage, aptx, long battery life, minimal disconnect interference. Will be more widely used to hear songs and video streaming. If there is a recommendation that is better than the type mentioned above it is also permissible. I own about 10 diff pair of truly wireless, from JBud to Jabra to Anker and the rest of them, also tons of the sub-$100 cheapies on Amazon, and for me BY FAR the best is @jabra Elite 65T Active. The best sound, best fit, best app to accompany the units, best battery life, best connection (to both the phone AND ALSO from one unit to the other). No question Jabra wins. I also own about 20 yes TWENTY legacy Stereo BT earbud models, from ALL of them - Jaybird, JBL, Sony, LG, Plantronics, Bose, Anker, Beats - I mean all of them. Yes I have a problem, but again - the only one I'd take with me if I had to pick one, would be the Jabra Elite 65T Actives. Use them for running and for biking, in the rain, in huge sweat - they take it all and just keep on working. Get them!

Edited: I forgot to add one major feature... There is a charging cord firmly attached in a recessed grove on the bottom of the case! Awesome feature! No need to carry a separate cord when traveling this case is literally plug and go! After trying 4 sets and not liking any of them I found the JBud Air and absolutely L-O-V-E everything about them! I get a whopping 6+ hours play time right out of the case. Most of my usage is listening to online lectures at a very low volume and I'm sure that's a contributor to what I think is exceptional battery life. My ear canals are unusually small but these are so comfortable and sit so well I have no trouble keeping them in and sometimes I even forget I'm wearing them. Have to give extremely high marks for call quality too. Not only hearing on my end but my mother who has a lot of difficulty using the phone in general (due to wearing hearing-aids) has absolutely no trouble understanding every word I say. Cannot say enough good things...highly recommend.

It's not that great. The call audio only comes through the right ear, and the microphone is definitely not anything to write home about. Were expensive ($350 when I bought them) but now they go for about $250 at most.

The PXC 550s are one of the most underrated headphones in my opinion. Most people just talk Bose or Sony when it comes to noise cancelling but the Sennheiser's are incredible. If you are not used to wearing earbuds it will bother you probably for the first week but after that, you should be good to go

@@OfficialGamesky I absolutely love my headphones had them for exactly a year I believe. They have great battery life, amazing sound quality, and just a wonderful look to them. I'll continue to use them as my daily headphones till they break and my new earbuds for more on the go tasks.

Have you had any battery drain issues with the Sennheiser Momentum Truly Wireless at all when in their charging case. I've seen people saying they also drain faster on one ear bud compared to the other.

The brand that has the highest potential might be the Jaybird runs tbh. Kinda disappointed that the XTs didn’t fix the issues that the previous ones had.

Yance Georgia It seems excellent to me. Clear, nuanced sound on my end. On the other end, I’ve only heard that when I’m in a loud ambient environment, there’s some trouble hearing me. I don’t think that’s unique to these earphones. Taking them in and out of the case is very convenient with respect to the automated powering on and off and connecting as either one or two channels, each with a microphone available. The case is nice and portable.

So I’m trying to find good wireless buds with an oval shaped insert. My current go to earbuds are the wired Bose Soundsport. I prefer the type that just rest in the ear, I don’t need sealing. I also like the shape of the cheap Panasonic ergofit buds. I previously had the Bose Soundsport Wireless buds, but that additional sealing part on their wireless buds tended to irritate my ears. Anyone have any recommendations for wireless buds?
