Yeah d one guy on the comments he bought a 83” S90C for bdr, n 100” U8K for living room. He rave over both. Seem that u8k 100” is good stuff against Qd-oled.

yes but for pure picture quality you will miss the QD oled panel. Oleds arent great for SDR content anyway. S90c is the best oled for the price. I'm loving mine at 77in for 2k USD. sports can be choppy but that is mostly because of the 720p broadcast signal that comes down the pipeline. not really the tvs fault for that. but for movies and games you cant beat it for the price. With the money you save now you can put it to another in 5-7 years

Yeah, i have u8 in the living room and u7(last year model ) in d bdr. Just the rest the X90L (matte screen, werid tint any time u turn lights on) frosty screen. N like washed out color. N the X85K I SAW it in store with my husband,..he was like”this is so SEVERLY blooming how can they even sell that with that price..” n rage out of TV aisle. X85K has VERY bad blooming. Imagine its in dark room. I would take HIsnse U7 for bdr any day..cuz its like 1200nits mini LED can still turn up but can be turned down. I would agree with u for the rest….yeah AVOID that X85K or Q80C like no tmrw. Cuz they are def IPS panel washed out n blooming. Absolutely. Not worth it since ther way advanced U7 Q7, even last years TCL 6 Series or Hisnse U7 U8 look more OLED like once tweaked. 😊

@@chefjefe68 i mean i have seen them at Bestbuy besid X95K X90K X85K X80K. So the blooming was quite obvious tho last year when they played some Demo. U might want to re visits. Even Hisense U8H (before I went to check sony, i went to buy U8H n vetting against S95B) in diff store. So i was trying to see how Blooming in 2022 against 2021 Flagship U8G n QN90A. Its NOT even QLED so the ENTIRE PANEL is CONSTANTLY LIT. All the black level are heightened by default even tho no blooming. So by that…if watching things at night if the scenes are black ..it’s worse than blooming visual cuz the entire black area are lifted. It can look quite Goo luminated as bdr tv. IF u did see it in the BESTBUY in bright lights…it wont be as NOTICABLE. I can’t explain tho,,,maybe go to Rtings site. It has like the entire panel with a white faint sheer layer on it . Maybe my eyes are too sensitive cuz I have had like those crazy LEDs for many years… my eyes pick up weird film like that. N has low color volume. Yeah those Hisense U6K prob looks nicer . Not saying u r worng at all. Just I had some $3000 $4000 led tvs before getting HIsnse. Like some odd things really pops out at my eyes now once seeing it , i cant un see it. Just trying to help. Cuz u obviously know your stuff . I saw it at passing in store did see some off looking something if its black screen with some bright demo. In Busienss school professor DISPISE SONY Tv , n cuz they PRESENT in Flagship in the way that so large they do NOT want u to buy it. They make X95L so huge 99% ppl will buy smaller sony. Because flagship expensive vey few ppl buy their flagship. They do NOT ever make money much at all over Flagship. They want ppl to buy mid rage n low range. So ppl can upgrade every 3 yrs vs every 5-6 yrs. Cuz if u get X95L A95L u are not going to upgrade for a while. If they make X95L in 65 75, ppl will not buy the A80L or A95L . A80L too dim low color volume. A95L too expensive, X95L is closer enough. Better of both world. When they make X95L in 65” it’s going to be 65” A80L or 55”A95L price. Ppl will want LARGE tv n do that. To avoid burn in. It’s all marketing. It’s something shocked to learn that BIG 3 do NOT make money from Flagship. Even tho the flagship 2X price. They make MONEY selling mid low range. I bet this year upgrades 80-90%% upgrade are going for like X90L X93L , A80L A75L n OLDER TVs. Same thing as CAR dealership: advertising a good car top notch, then “oh that one not available , this one is close to that”. Same thing Samsung did that they did NOT Launch S92C S93C in USA, they didnt not launch QN95C in USA. They make sure the GAP between MINI LED /QD-OLED is obvious. If they had S93C S92C in USA, that will be Best seller, it will effect both S90C S95C. If they had QN95C, it look -TOO MUCH like S95C. It will ruin S90C. They are purposely making mini LED looking worse so they can sell QD-OLED as d MORE PREMIUM when it’s like 2-3% better but charge 2X price. X95L does NOT even COUTN. Because SoNY did NOT show up at--2023 CES, it stake out compititon u8k Qm8 S95C QN95C…n decided to do a X95L for show…to BEAT Hisenes/TCL to win the “judging game’ so they can remain preistege. It’s very unhealthy practice in product development. They are NOT having better tech, they simply launch 2024 X95L in 2023, it ACTUALLY ruins innovation cuz IT under mines Compititor’s GOOD work . You’re getting a notably dimmer picture with the A80L, and the older LG panel is used in that tv. The C3 is much better, AND cheaper!

I guess it would come down to how bright the room you would be in. Because the s95c gets bright but not as bright while having more color accuracy

Saw the X95L in person at ABT in Glenview,Illinois and let me tell you "in my opinion" NO OTHER TV looks as good including the A95L! Even better contrast than the X93L with oled-like blacks...Looks 3 dimensional with some content..The price of $4,299 is justified in my book..

All 3 employees ZOOM in like”wow I work here, this TV CAN LOOK lIKE THAT!!!, it’s QD-OLED. What did u do?” N out of nowhere some tall black guy enginner or something checking out SONY A95K 75” was like;”excuse me do u WORK here…??? I’m trying to decide between a 55 inch A95L or A80L…

Brightness isn't everything, especially if you watch TV or movies in a dimly lit to darkened room for true home theater impact. Under those circumstances, brighter TVs are actually at a disadvantage.

From my own experience. Samsung is a no go for a lack of QC. I’ve given up on the brand. Too many issues, from phones, TVs and appliance purchases.

I disagree with the lack of Dolby vision, the panel and processing make the biggest impact not Dolby vision. Example c3 vs s90c or even a premium led tv. Bright scenes Dolby vision or not the led is going to look the best, Dolby vision or not. Same with the s90c color brightness is a huge difference c3 vs s90c. What’s the point of having Dolby vision if c3 can’t hit it or show it properly, panel is way more important/ impactful than just Dolby vision. Unless you’re doing a disc for everything and I mean everything who cares. Fomo already also showed hdr 10 has better bandwidth than only vision.. so we need tech to catch up to the TVs already and we still need these TVs to catch up to what Dolby can really do for it to actually matter. Having the Sony a1e master series oled with Dolby vision, and going to the 77 inch s90c without Dolby vision. It’s night and day difference. Samsung wins in everything to my eyes minus upscaling lower quality content. It’s not even close in any other meaningful category. And at 1800 for the 77 inch s90c it’s a no brainer. Would love the a95L and get everything in the package but 1800 vs 5000 dollars, again no brainer

Samsung is also very anti right to repair which is a huge reason to never buy any product from them.

@@Chris-sl2pv Maybe for yourself but my friend brought his Samsung over and we compared Dolby Vision to normal HDR and each TV was calibrated to nearly the same settings and the Dolby Vision TV was far better.

@@randybradley4151 I would bet the tv that won with Dolby vision had better processing and a better panel than the one that didn’t, if it was the same tv Dolby vision off vs. dobly vision on then sure yes again. However, if you have a tv that can hit 1500 nits better color accuracy, better color volume, that tv will destroy any Dolby vision content from a tv that can only hit 700 nits, lower color volume, less accurate. Just because it says Dolby visions doesn’t add capabilities outside of the tvs limits. You’re just incorrectly showing a Dolby picture with a less quality tv. Come on a 500 dollar lg led tv or Sony tv can’t compete against the s90c. They have Dolby vision and s90c doesn’t, every reviewer will tell you the best 3 TVs Dolby vision or not s95c, a95L and g3/m3. Samsung s95c beats all other TVs hands down and doesn’t have Dolby vision. The panel and tv capabilities are far more important and everyone will say the same thing, dobly vision does not make or break a tv

if the A95L has great uniformity no dirty screen effect…no vertical banding…no pink tint then I might go get a 55 inch model either that or a A80L
